β β β β β We used Archivolt for the drafting design and permit application for our kitchen renovation. Kostas was extremely knowledgeable, direct, and reliable.
As young homeowners trying to our own renovations on a budget, we felt like we had finally found a true industry professional who was not trying to gouge or upsell anything more than we wanted/needed. Kostas was extremely responsive to all of our questions (and there were a lot!) and made us feel like our tiny reno project was still an important priority.
Overall, we would absolutely recommend Archivolt and would use them again for any future projects.

β β β β β I am happy I had Kostas Nikolaou from Archivolt.ca to prepare and submit my City of Surrey Renovation Permit package. Kostas came to the house, assessed the scope of the project, and immediately knew what documents we needed to successfully obtain the required City of Surrey Renovation Permit. He prepared and submitted the City of Surrey Renovation Permit package right away.
What I appreciated and liked best about working with Kostas was his ability to respectfully communicate with anyone at their level of understanding. From the client perspective, when I asked questions about the permit and the permit process, he took the time to explain things using terminology that I could understand and relate to. He also understood my need to be kept informed and included me in emails with the city reviewer and my project contractor. This allowed me to follow what was going on and why, kept me out of the dark and let me know that everything was being dealt with efficiently and appropriately. From the industry perspective, Kostas professionally addressed questions from the various city reviewers and my project contractor with similar ease and respect.
Kostas did the work, kept me stress free and was successful in getting me a City of Surrey Renovation Permit by being:
1.knowledgeable in his industry and in the City of Surrey Renovation Permit process
2.professional and respectful in all his communication (written, phone and in person) with everyone involved with the project & process
3.efficient in his handling of the technicalities in the renovation permit process
Kostas Nikolaou from Archivolt.ca is an asset to any project.

β β β β β This is my very first review of anything and I am happy to write this for Kostas , Jimmy and the people of Archivolt.ca
I was trying to submit my own permits for our renovation and after seeing how complicated it seemed , I looked around for an Architect to help and someone familiar with Coquitlam's permit process
I knew Kostas from another life and career and when I found out he was focused on this I emailed him to see where he might be able to help.
Within three days he send Jimmy and Mitch to measure our property, arranged for the Surveyor and coordinated the construction drawings.
While the drawings took about eight weeks to develop , I do not feel this was unreasonable since we needed to wait for work from the Surveyors.
Kostas recommended a few General Contractors to work with , but we selected our neighbor and he was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the drawings and the efficiency of Archivolt.ca

β β β β β Needing drawings for a permitted renovation I undertook in August 2020, I contacted Archivolt without any prior experience of the process. Kostas visited my project and took care of everything. I was supplied with professional drawings, hand delivered and given good advice, he also helped further when the city made a few things complicated.
Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend him and his company without hesitation. Great service at a very reasonable cost!
