★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time during our introduction to Sailing class with Great Lakes Sailing School. The instructor, Alexei was excellent with decades of experience and knowledge to share. It was a wonderful experience, looking forward to coming back to learn more in his next class.

Best sailing, best people, best parties, best for learning sailing techniques, best view of Toronto, best view of the stars, best awesome sunsets, best biking, best place to relax on your boat floating quietly on a mooring, best place to see many birds, fish, small mammals, in the middle of the Tommy Thompson Park (the old Leslie Street Spit), our urban wilderness!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, limited facilities at club - but lots nearby. Best to email ahead to advise of arrival for dock space. Reciprocal club members have full access to washrooms,BBQ,picnic tables, and private members shuttle service to Tommy Thompson Park Gate. Short walk to Canadian Tire, Loblaws (grocery store ) - now selling BEER, Boston Pizza, Tim Horton's/Wendy's fast food and a Starbucks all within 1 km of park gate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike any other sailing club in Toronto. The setting is in a protected bay. 10 minutes from downtown but a world away from the city. This is the best kept secret sail club in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toronto's only urban wilderness keelboat sailing club. Gorgeous location in a secluded, wooded cove, minutes from downtown. Nowhere else in the GTA can you park a keelboat and enjoy watching herons and beavers in a natural environment. Also, an extremely affordable place to keep a fixed keel sailboat.
