Floating, the practice of entering a float tank (also called an isolation tank or sensory deprivation tank) has an abundance of benefits for health, personal development, spirituality, and well-being.
Float tanks are an enclosed tub filled with 10" of water, and 1100 lbs of Epsom salts. The water is heated to the same temperature as the surface of your skin so that when the water settles and you remain still, you will not feel the water anymore.
All forces of gravity on the musculoskeletal system and nervous system are eliminated from the extreme positive buoyancy, creating an environment where you don't feel, see or hear anything.
