Aqua Dental Centre

I had an very positive experience at Aqua Dental Center today. I’m one of those people who are EXTREMELY terrified of dentists and Needles (usually have to be sedated) Dr Somji was kind, patient, knowledgeable and Super friendly. He made me feel completely at Ease, took the time to thoroughly explain everything he needed to do, went above and beyond to ensure I was Ok. I barley felt the Needles, the procedure didn’t hurt at all and he called an hour later to check on me. He went way above and beyond!

I am so happy I found Dr Somji. He is so kind, patient, professional and caring. I have fear of dentists and he always makes the whole experience easy for me. I will never look for any other dentist even tho it takes me more then 1/2h drive to get to see him. Thank you Dr. Somji and team for being so awesome . Dijana

Dr Somji has been my dentist since about 2000 even though I moved to the Okanagan 15 years ago. Dr Somji is very flexible and always fits me into his schedule. With regular dental cleaning I have had no cavities for over five years. This time, I had a scheduled dental clean when they discovered a cracked molar. Within minutes Dr Somji Jr had me in another chair and prepared my molar for a crown. This saved me a trip from Kelowna. Today Dr Somji Jr painlessly applied my new crown to my molar. My family and I have been going to Dr Somji for all our dental work for over 10 years. The professional service there continues to improve every time I go. I have recently had a crown done, it fits perfectly, is coloured spot on and feels natural. I tried the zoom whitening...what a difference!! I highly recommend it...another reason to smile. Dr.Somji, or a member of his team always calls in the evening to see how I'm getting along after my visit. I was particularly impressed with that, it's not required, but it shows genuine care and dedication. Thank you Dr. Somji and your team for the great service and advice, my teeth have never looked better.

I did cleaning, fixing broken teeth and cavities fix here. And they did really good job! Their stuffs are friendly and they even follow up next day to see if everything working good ? so if you decide here as your dentist, they will take care of you really good!

Dr Somji and his staff are phenomenal! After fighting an abcessed molar for nearly two weeks. I was unable to get an appointment with my regular dentist for emergency dental surgery. Aqua dental bent over backwards to get me fixed up and the team made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Somji was very professional and thorough. He explained all the options and costs upfront and had a friendly and charming personality which made me feel very welcome. They were very busy and made me a priority in-between appointments, which I was more than happy to be patient. The whole processes was very quick. I didn't feel the needles or freezing and I didn't even feel the tooth being pulled. It was honestly the best experience I've ever had at the dentist's office ever. He does amazing work and I will reccomended anyone to him. Thank you guys

I've been going to Aqua Dental for years and it's always a positive experience which is big deal when trips to the dentist usually aren't. They have a very friendly staff, easy to make appointments, great at reminding you about your appointments and wait times are never more more than a few minutes. They do a very thorough job at cleaning teeth, thankfully I haven't had to get anything else done but I'm sure they would be just as thorough.

This review is long overdue as I have been seeing Dr. Alnoor Somji for almost 20 years and have always had a positive experience despite being very uncomfortable going to the dentist. In addition to cleanings, I have had cavities filled, mouthguards made and most recently a crown put in (by both Dr. Alnoor Somji and Dr. Zee Somji) and both dentists have been lovely to work with. I like that they explain the options, break down the cost, but also let me decide on my own whether something is worth the money. This was especially important as up until last year, I was paying fully out of pocket for all of the treatments so they were mindful of costs. This is going to sound weird, but both Dr. Zee and Dr. Somji have gentle hands (I had another dentist from childhood scratch me once on the face by accident) and from what I can see in my mouth, do great quality work. They are also sympathetic to anyone who is anxious or needs a break in the middle of the procedure. I have been given Vaseline for my dry lips, Advil for a headache I was getting from opening my mouth for too long (I have TMJ as well) and of course bathroom breaks. They pay attention to how I am doing which I greatly appreciate! Let's not forget the team at Reception! Always nice, polite and accommodating! I had some latent sensitivity with my crown and I had a few (very nice) follow-ups after the procedure was done just to see how my mouth was feeling and thankfully my nerve settled down eventually, but I was reassured that all could be fixed if needed. In short, I highly recommend Aqua Dental Centre and have always been treated with care all these years! I look forward to having dentures made in my elderly years :-)
