★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't recommend anyone to get an apprenticeship. The system is only beneficial to the employer as an apprentice you have no power over your own future or your own ticket. They offer you false hope. I've seen countless apprentices go without furtherment because their employer has all the control. You cannot go to school without employer consent. I've even had employers fire before planned schooling instead of delivering the promised lay off. Any apprenticeship in my mind is a joke. And the apprenticeship board needs to give their head a shake. My only request is that my 1st year at be deleted as would never use it for society again. There's better things to waste time on. And better people.
