A lactation consultant from a Peel Public Health breastfeeding clinic referred our (then) 3 month old son to Dr. Sherri Hill for a tongue tie release. Dr. Hill assessed our son and advised us of the benefits of the procedure and any (rare) possible side effects there could be. Without any pressure, they gave us time to discuss whether we wished to have our son go through the procedure (this is our first child so we were obviously very nervous). Due to his age, Dr. Hill snipped the tongue tie instead of using laser. They offered a follow up appointment at no charge to see if the tongue tie release was healing well. Our son is almost 5 months now and the tongue tie release has helped him a lot. Dr. Hill and her staff were amazing and treated us with so much care and support. We are so thankful to them and would highly recommend them to others for this procedure.

I wish i could leave a positive review like others have. We took our newborn for a tongue tie release. After having it done we were told to do stretching of the tongue for 1 week and come back for a follow up. We went back for a follow up and were told to do the stretches for a few more days and that everything looked good. We questioned about his lip tie and were told that it wasn't severe. Let me tell you, it is SEVERE. We have a baby who can't eat properly and it is destroying us. The tongue tie has reattached as the stretches should have been done for much longer Than what we were intsructed. (This came from another provider) Long story short, not happy at all. We are now going to another dentist to get the tongue redone as well as the lip, the lip has been a huge factor in this disaster we are in right now and was never addressed.

I just had an appointment at Appleby Dental shortly after their re-opening subsequent to Covid-19. I would like to say that I was extremely impressed with their attention to setup and procedures to ensure that their patients are completely safe in their clinic. They have obviously followed the guidelines to a T and perhaps even included additional safeguards. I have gone to Appleby Dental for years and I have always felt comfortable and happy with them. I would highly recommend Appleby Dental to anyone looking for a dental clinic. Jo-Ann Clark (Burlington)

Our family has been going here for 15 years. The staff is very accommodating and professional. You can tell they have invested the money in training and equipment to stay at the top of their game. Dr. Hill is very personable and a great dentist. Melissa is without a doubt the best hygienist I have had. We come from out of town and it is well worth the drive. Keep up the great work!

We got a recommendation from someone after our newborn arrived. Dr. Hill was a specialist in treating our newborns condition and our insurance covered it. Dr. Hill and her associates made our experience very comfortable especially when it came to our baby's care. They were very professional and helpful in explaining what they did and how to future care our baby. It made us happy and we highly recommend them to everyone who had the same thing as our daughter! Thanks!

I went for my first appointment on Monday November 1st when I told them my back molar was very sensitive to cold which is unusual for me. The team said it was because of my gums and booked a cleaning for November 8th. I mentioned again during the cleaning that my tooth was sensitive, she wrote it down and kept cleaning (the dental hygienist was amazing though). On Thursday the 11th, the pain was extreme. I called the office and the person who spoke with me literally laughed, said I was probably very sensitive to the pain and the cleaning was a deep cleaning. And a bit of salt and warm water would make it better. It didn't. I couldn't stand the heat on my tooth and the pain was severe. The dentist agreed to see me on Friday November 12th and in that appointment she realized my tooth was broken (no x rays were done - they were waiting for the ones I had 6 MONTHS AGO on my previous dentist to be able to check what was causing the pain???). Again I was sent home in a lot of pain and booked an appointment for November 22nd (ok if you had tooth pain you know how much it hurts. 10 more days like that???). On Saturday I couldn't sleep/eat/open my mouth properly. My ears and throat were hurting. I messaged the dentist and she booked to see me on Monday night. I couldn't wait any longer so I went to an emergency dentist. She took an x ray, saw the infection was bad and had to do the surgery right there. I can't explain the smell that came out of my tooth. It smelled like rotten meat. The emergency dentist gave me antibiotics. Unfortunately the infection was too far gone and even with all the work the emergency doctor had cleaning the infection, the oral antibiotics were not able to completely clear it. So on Tuesday, since I couldn't swallow, I had to go to the emergency where I spent the day taking IV antibiotics and meds for the pain. Luckily I saw my emergency dentist who had to open the tooth again, and clean everything. We had another surgery done. Sorry for the long story but if on November 1st when I went there they treated my tooth, this wouldn't have happened. I am not the one writing reviews to make people look bad but this really impacted me financially and my health too. This is just not right. I am writing this here so people can be aware and maybe I can avoid that this happens woth someone else. Thank you

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Hill for my son’s tongue tie. Dr. Hill and her team are very knowledgeable and professional. They made the whole experience very easy, fast, and provided follow up care to ensure we were doing the exercises and healing properly. I would highly recommend for anyone who has a baby with a tongue tie.
