★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tough grind up to Applebee Dome at 2,400m with about 1,000m elevation gain in 5.5km. Chicken wire provided at parking lot to prevent porcupine from chewing the car break. Hiking sticks a must. There's one outhouse at trailhead and 2 outhouses at the campground. The campground has bear cache, a station for filling water to be treated and grey water station. Camping fee can be paid by envelope at Kain Hut and there's park ranger that goes around providing camping permit at Applebee.
