Another View Landscaping Ltd

In 2016 Another View did the landscaping for our new home. The employee in charge and myself exchanged a number of emails. I stated the colours of flowers I preferred and the type of flower I didn't care for. Lori emailed me a list of plants. I told her there were only 5 on the list that I liked. She became ill and I didn't hear from her for a number of weeks. We were barely back to discussing what I liked, when they showed up with a truck load of trees, shrubs and plants. We had never gotten around to discussing what and how many trees we wanted never mind finishing the discussions relating to types of flowers. The plants and shrubs were all small with no flowers showing so I had no idea what she had chosen to bring. After enquiring where she intended to plant the trees and redirecting them to where we wanted them. Turns out she brought every plant and shrub on the original list that I had stated I didn't like. I realize now that I should have gone with my first instinct and told her to pack them all back on the truck and we would continue discussing what plants would suit us. They had shown up early and completely unexpected, so took me awhile before I was ready to go out and speak to Lori. When the plants grew and I discovered a number of flowers I had stated both to Ian on our first visit and then later to Lori. Their response was that I was difficult, didn't understand what could be planted here in Whistler and that they had spent a great deal of time planning my garden. I had asked about a few flowers that either weren't suitable or they couldn't get from the supplier. I then asked Lori what plants could grow here that were bright colours. Bright Reds (not burgundy), bright yellows, not white or purple. Don't even get me started on the lawn, which is half did not take. Our current Landscaping company is going to try to revive it. And yes, it has recieved continued maintenance. Unfortunately my husband paid them in full when we received the bill, with no hold back. When our builder arranged a meeting we discussed a few replacements. Never done, never heard from again. Emails go unanswered, builder again called Ian, he has not called or emailed. If you are NOT OK with THEM choosing your flowers and shrubs and NOT listening to your opinion, then find someone else like we did. Another View prices also higher than most. Hopefully this review won't be deleted.
