โ โ โ โ โ Well I have used the majority of their facilities and overall they are great. The building itself is relatively new and the staff and volunteers are nice. When we break down this review we see the pool, the library, the ice rink, the basketball court, and the provided camps. The pool: clean the lifeguards are very experienced and know how to deal with most situations. The library has a nice facility, it is usually quite. if they would buy more books then it would make the place that much better. I can't really say anything about the rink except for the fact that they maintain it well. Also there were free 1 hour skates not sure if they still do it. Most of my experience with the rink was with my hockey teams, we won majority of games here. the basketball court is nice, I really like the glass walls, it's innovative and modern. they keep it much cleaner than many other basketball courts, although I have not used them much personally I still feel comfortable using this facility. And the camp volunteers are nice. The whole community centre looks nice and so this ends this way too long review.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a large facility with a library, pool, gym and a Indoor rink. There is a seperate building for tennis with outdoor splash pad and multiple play grounds.

โ โ โ โ โ We were visiting from out of town. The stryctures were clean and had something for multiple ages. The garbage cans were clearly visible and were not overstuffed. There was ample parking. The scenery behind the play structures is beautiful. It's a great place for a picnic!
We didn't go into the community center.

โ โ โ โ โ This community center is really great: spacious gymnasium, big swimming pool with water splash for small kids, great arena for skating and hockey programs, Covid protocol, very professional and friendly staff.

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely horrible. Too crowded with parents and their kids swimming on both sides of the pool, even with the deep water level area which was meant for skilled swimmers, I found that parents and kids resides there by wearing life suit or hanging onto floaters, which is just not acceptable. NO ONE practices swimming etiquette, literally swimming all over the pool in random directions. You literally can't avoid but to get hit by someone's feet or direct bump into someone when attempting to swim there. There are many life guards at each pool but they couldn't care less...100% would NOT recommend this pool for someone who really wants to get a swim on.

As a public community centre operated by the city of Markham, what's not to like? You have programs offered which are reasonably priced and conveniently located across the city.
This facility offers a skating arena, pool, gymnasium, library and meeting rooms or spaces available to rent.
Within the larger complex, you'll find a tennis centre outside in a separate building. There's also a park with a basketball court and a large soccer field.
Plenty to do upon registration.
Lots of parking.
Multiple entrances. Public bus loop stops in front.
