★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is depression with 4 walls. During the one and only time I’ve ever been here, it was made very obvious that no one here cares. The management is some of the worst I’ve ever encountered, and the employees all look like they hate their lives. I would too if I were stuck in a place like this. Has it even had a renovation since the 70’s? I’ve never seen a business so neglected and (barely) functioning. I honestly feel bad for the staff as it seems the company takes advantage of their labour. 0/10. Literally go anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunate that the customer service here is lacking as this store has great selection and reasonable prices. This wasn't the first time the customer service has been subpar, however today was the straw that broke the camel's back as a clerk insulted my dog the moment I walked into the store. I usually bring my dog into the store as dogs are allowed, however today he was too hyper to bring inside and I left him outside with my partner. As soon as I walked inside the store the clerk made extremely rude comments about my dog right in front of me. Brewery Creek in East Van got my business today instead!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is always so friendly and fun to talk to. Once they recognize you, they are even more wonderful! I visit often with my dog and they give her extra love and don’t make me feel bad for shopping with her. The prices are good for a private store and the selection is constantly improving. They even recently have brought in kosher wine. I am so impressed with this store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently changed ownership (used to be liquor barn). New owners jacked the prices up by 20-30% across the board. For example: Steamworks Mix-pack was ~$22, it's now ~$28, both pretax and the gov price is ~$20.
I am no longer a regular customer, and purposefully go out of my way to avoid going here now. I guess if you can afford to pay for the huge markup, go ahead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been visiting this location for almost a year now all the staff are super-friendly there's parking in the back. Decent prices and they always have a deal on different beers. Great wine selection as well if you're in the neighborhood definitely go check it out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked the store at first, however the older clerk ruined the experience. He excepted my student card as secondary ID multiple times but today he decided that they do not accept student cards anymore and this decision came after confirming that my passport is Russian (racism?). Very upsetting, especially knowing he occasionally sells to younger people without checking any ID.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go to liquor store. The staff is very friendly. There is this older gentleman at the cashier who is always up to bringing a smile to everyone’s faces. He definitely sets the bar high to the rest of the staff. :) Prices are reasonable and their advice is on point.
