However the food was very underwhelming for $20+/plate. Every dish was under seasoned and had simple flavors. For example, the meat sauce was just simple beef and tomato, no garlic, onion, herb or unami and low salt. The parmesan was powdered Kraft, not what you would expect at a nice Italian place. Not worth the $120 I spent.
J	Jeremy Rahn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading all the reviews, I guess my wife and I are the only people that didn’t love the food here. The lasagna was very saucy and meaty and lacked pasta. The sauce was bland and didn’t stick out in any particular way. The lasagna was a healthy portion which was nice to see. The pasta had some spicy sausage and we had added two meat balls. The pasta was much better than the lasagna in my opinion. Also the baguette which was a free starter was in the oven but when we received it was cold so I didn’t make it seem like it was freshly baked. They did have live music which I really enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed our time there but the food was kinda average and generic.

I recommend making a reservation, although one of the nights we came without making one, we did have to wait but it was well worth it, but we already knew that. Every thing we ordered was amazing, the portions are big but the food is made with care, the staff were always friendly and attentive, the tiramisu is literally the best! They also had a man who was playing guitar and singing on both nights which added nicely to the atmosphere.

The interior is intimate and was beautifully decorated for Valentines Day. In the corner was a gentleman playing a guitar and singing quietly as we chatted and enjoyed our dinner. The meal itself was amazing and well worth the wait on this popular evening. I had the chicken special, my step brother a seafood bowl and both my mother and sister in law had the salmon with lemon dill sauce. Everyone at our table was amazed at the generous portions and excellent flavors. We weren't drinking that evening or having desert so we were cheap dates. I never had a chance to see the wine list, but I'm sure with all the bottles of different vintages moving past us to other tables they had a good selection. The bottom line is this restaurant has been around in the town of Salmon Arm for quite some time which is a remarkable achievement since restaurants come and go with great frequency in that town, especially higher end restaurants. It's usually very busy, so reservations are a must especially on special days like Valentines Day. The food, ambiance and service were superb and cost was very reasonable for a higher end restaurant in that town. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for not only wonderful Italian cuisine but just amazing food in general.

We felt very welcomed by the two lovely waitresses and the space is nicely laid out and decorated. The live music was also a nice pleasant surprise, which you don't see everywhere. The waitresses paid a very high attention to detail, checking in on us regularly, and providing top notch service. The food was delicious and well priced for the quantity and quality. Can't say enough good things, we were very impressed!
