★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well first time i went there, took over 8 months to fix and replace a tweeter on a standard monitor. Called many times and was told 2 weeks with a promise of a call back for follow up., never called back...
Second time around i brought in a microphone in for repairs.. never got a call back, its been just about 7-8 month.. same situation., promise of a call back., but never got one..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had a synth (Waldorf MicroQ) in for repair since October 2020. Will I ever see it again?
The day that I brought it in my phone rang about 2 hours later saying the unit had been repaired. I was extremely impressed by such a fast turn around. I went to pick up the synth, paid the bill, brought it home, turned it on and... still completely broken. So, I took it back to Analogix that same afternoon. They apologized for the mistake and said they'd take another look at the synth...
Fast forward to April 2022: my seldom calls and emails go mostly unanswered. When I have received a response, I get told arbitrary future dates wherein the synth might be repaired:
"Next month"
"This week or next"
That has been going on for 1.5 years now. I get the impression that the unit is sitting on a shelf in the basement and hasn't been looked at in a long, long time.
And if it is just the matter of waiting on a certain part to arrive in the post, that's fine but I'd like to at least know what the status is. But no, just more arbitrary dates wherein nothing happens and I never get a call back.
I understand that the synth repair is a complicated one - they said as much. And I don't mind the wait per se; what I *do* mind is the avoidance and apparent lack of honesty.
So, while Analogix are nice people overall, I can't say that I've had a very good experience this time around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Yamaha P85 electric piano has light signals when plugged in, but couldn’t make a sound. Phoned up a couple local stores, and both of them recommended me to bring it here. They have informed me their hour rate (65$/h) before I left it there. They charged 2.5 hours of labor for replacing the electronic components; taxes and materials are extra. They fixed the piano in time for my concert, which is an asset. Pleasant service, and the gentleman even helped me carry the piano to the car!
