★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Ames is very learned and knowledgeable. She gave me a ton of information and educated me about my injury. I came to her for assessment with a very nasty and very painful, persistent shoulder injury. She did a full assessment, including the history of the injury and treatments including a physio report. She decided to treat me with a cortisone injection.
When she did the injection, I felt it go right into the center of where I was having the terrible pain. Dead on.
I noticed some reduction in pain right away but it took a week or two to really settle down. I went back to work, regular duties, one month after the treatment. Now, 5 months later, I am doing great and working hard. I have full use of my dominant arm again and no pain. Excellent Doctor.
