★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The inspector was very thorough, taking enough time to explain clearly and concisely all the issues that needed our attention. He was also perfectly bilingual. He just did an amazing job. I had an inspection done last year which only lasted 30 mins. This inspector took 2 hours and did an amazing job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stephane Pilon did the "inspection" on my house back in April of 2014.
Since then I have had to re-do the roof and will have to re-do the 12 year old septic system. These are things Stephane could not have foreseen but the man who built my house lives right across the street. I gave Stephane Pilon his telephone number so he could call him and determine if my house was well built. It wasn't. Stephane never bothered to call him and now I am stuck with a lemon of a house.
I tried to sue Stephane Pilon in small claims but Amerispec has a very complicated contract you must sign the day of the inspection. I lost.
Conclusion, stay away from this company and use a contractor- someone who actually builds and understand houses.

Even though purchasing one's first home can be very stressful, AmeriSpec somehow alleviated a great deal of the anxiety, provided us with important information and advice catering to both our budget and needs, was on constant communication with us throughout the whole procedure of our prospective property being inspected (thank you again Mrs Susie) and even provided us with a detailed binder with helpful information in terms of potential home repairs and pertinent cost-effective advice as well as tips for moving and settling down smoothly in our new home. Mr Stephane Blanchard left us speechless with his skills as an inspector. Not only did he demonstrate utter professionalism by being at our prospective property before our appointment, but from the first moment he showed how knowledgeable, experienced and diligent he is. He was significantly thorough, he did not leave an inch of the property uninspected and he was keeping us up to date with everything he came across. He did not hesitate to spend extra time to answer all our questions and address all our concerns. We are in true debt to him. We ourselves were referred to him by a friendly couple of ours and we certainly do not even consider of reaching out to anyone else for such tasks. AmeriSpec and Mr Blanchard are certainly the way to go for anyone considering to buy property.
