★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't say enough good things about how thorough the inspection was. Great 11 page report with colour photographs detailing the concerns, and what to do about it. Murray even had ballpark estimates to get the necessary work done. Top service, would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Murray and Andrea were really friendly and provided a report about our new home. However, upon moving in and further inspecting things ourself, we noticed that the smoke detectors needed replaced back in 2016 (we weren't told this by Murray and I don't know that he even looked), our dryer vent was plugged, and toilets had so much calcium build up over the years that they couldn't flush. There was also so much build up in the bath tub drain that it would take forever to drain. All of this we fixed ourselves, but if you're not savvy enough around the house, you might be out hundreds, if not a thousand or two, dollars in repairs and maintenance. Assuming we were over reacting, we confirmed with our Realtor (who referred us to AmeriSpec) that Murray should have caught these things. I probably wouldn't recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please do yourself a favour and hire Murray for you your home inspection. I was a first time home buyer and Murray's inspection was detailed, thorough but more importantly easy to understand. He walked me through everything in a language that made sense to me, gave me a report with pictures and all the big stuff I needed to know. He was available for follow up questions and always responded within 24 hours of an email. He even came by personally after I moved in to follow up on a question. He contributed HUGE to the ease of this experience.
