★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncle Vadim totally looked after me. Went in with quite long hair and asked for a short trim (didn't really know what I wanted).
Uncle Vadim took his time and basically gave me multiple haircuts until we found the perfect one.
Honestly never had a better experience at a barber shop in my entire life. I'll be coming back for sure but most likely won't wait until my hair is so long to revisit ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newer to the area and I was lucky enough to come across this place. Highly recommend coming here for the professionalism, skill, and also the personality their shop and selves have to offer. It's always nice to see a shop with history and people who care. This is not JUST another place to just get your hair cut. I couldn't recommend it enough!

So it was a pleasant surprise when I went to Ambleside Barber! Daniela did an amazing job. Very clean and professional, affordable and prompt!
Will be coming back for my future haircuts! The search for a new barber is over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m 84 and had become accustomed to going for a haircut simply because I needed one. Today I wound up at Ambleside Barbershop. The quality of the haircut stunned me as it was the best I’ve ever had. I’ll no longer wait till I have forest up there. Instead I’m going back to Ambleside and ask for Vladimir. Especially when I want to look good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very new in Vancouver, as everybody knows finding a new barber who understand what you want is really hard. I just googled the closest barber shop and l went. It was here. There was only a Ukrainian barber. I really loved him. He did his job super fast and perfectly. I am not going to find another one. You have to take cash with yourself and l think it was a bit more expensive than previous barber shop l been to but it worths.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ since I was 5 or 6 I have been going to this shop and I am a regular. i have known the owner all these years. he is always able to give me a good hair cut no matter what. i have so many fond memories of the shop and all the stories I have created there. this barber shop in my opinion is the heart of Ambleside and it is better because of it.
