The best part is you don't just get a hair cut at this place, it's a great experience. Max always offers you water, coffee, or tea and great conversations. I highly recommend this barber shop!

β β β β β Highly recommend Maximus for your haircut. Iβve been going here for 3 years: Max is great and has a passion for the perfect haircut. Service is top-notch, Max and his team are super nice. Likely the best hair/barber shop in Vancouver. Most customers have been coming here for years, even if they moved out of the downtown area. That tells a lot! Thanks Max! :)

β β β β β I can honestly say I look forward to getting a haircut since going to this barber shop. I've been going to the Maximus Modern Barber Shop for a few years now and am always met with courteous, friendly and professional staff.
Not only are the haircuts good quality, but Max and co. make you feel at home with a refreshing soft drink and entertaining conversation. The service is exceptional and the staff are always accommodating and can often squeeze me in at late notice.
Would have no hesitation in recommending Maximus to anyone wanting a haircut.

β β β β β Maximus is not just great at his craft, he's a charming and welcoming host, who's genuinely interested in, and happy to see, his clients. With complimentary tea or cofffee or whatever you like (I'm sure if you asked for scotch he'd scramble to find some!), a visit here is a brief break in the day with a friend. (And you leave with expertly cut hair at reasonable cost!)
