I love this old mine entrance, at one point I heard that they used to do tours, this is no longer the case. A wonderful piece of this regions history. I would advise against attempting to enter the mine itself even though it would appear that BC Hydro still makes use of the place. It's probably just not a good idea. "Keep Out" Is painted on the access door, let common sense have the win on this one people, mines are dangerous places, but especially 100 year old abandoned mines.
