Cozy little restaurant, very hospitable staff, and delicious food! I had the beef rendang, which was my first time trying it, and it was like eating comfort food! Perfect for the rainy night that it was! The portion itself was literally perfect, as I wasn’t over full, as I usually would be with other restaurant meals!

Good prices, very authentic and flavourful, love their Laksa and Prata Roti! Even ordered an extra side of rice to compliment everything ?

The first time I try the Burmese Cuisine, the taste is great of more than I expected, the curry is just perfect, so much spices inside but not hot & spicy, of course the service is great too. I sure will come back to try the different dishes.

First time visiting and very hungry so ordered a lot. All the foods were good especially tea leaf salad that is very special to us. Reasonable price and nice service. Will definitely come back.

Everything we ordered was really fresh and flavorful. The soups were great and the Tea Leaf salad is a must try! I’d definitely recommend it.

I didn't really know what type of food Burmese had so I haven't really gone here before. It turns out they have a mix of malay, singapore, indian, thai cuisines and some burmese specialties. We went for our favorite dishes beef rendang, pad thai, and prata (like roti canai). Beef rendang - wow the flavors are so deep. You realize how much other places have watered down their sauce. This has to be the best beef rendang I have ever tasted (#1 being my Malay friend's family recipe) Pad Thai - also one of the best I have ever tasted, even compared to in Thailand. It was full of tamarind flavor and more saucy. Prata with chicken - definitely very flaky and better than a lot of so called malaysian/singaporean restaurants out there. I would say it is close to the roti canai from Shiok (which is exactly like the ones I had in Malaysia). The dip is a little different - less curry flavor but more onion-y flavor. The best best thing about this place is the price to quality. $12-13 for pad thai or beef rendang and #1 taste. On top of that, the waitress is very sweet and careful. She places our dishes gently so that it doesn't make a big noise. I will definitely come here more often. This is my new go to place.

Homey little place to try authentic Burmese comfort food alongside other Southeast Asian dishes especially on a rainy Vancouver day. Must try the fish soup, tea salad (ask for steamed rice), prata, and #44 chicken dish. The prata is sooo tender, chewy and flaky. Perfect for the faint hearted who want tasty fusion flavours without the spicy chilli.

I super love this inviting Burmese eatery, with nostalgic paintings. It feels very retro, a blast from the past, and like a safe Southeast Asian haven <3 I like how it's very affordable and more a hole-in-the-wall kinda place. They definitely do not skimp out on the quality of the ingredients. Food always comes in such a comforting way. - The portion is generous, and they taste, the texture, the colour, the smell, and also the visual itself. It's presented well with simplicity. I've heard that the owner is Burmese, and while I cannot attest to its authenticity, I love the diverse flavours and simple and clean taste :) Brought a group of friends from Seattle here, who are avid foodies, and I'm glad to say they truly enjoyed it. Notable dishes (according to the opinions of family, friends and myself): - Tea Leaf Salad (definitely an acquired taste, but if you like it, you like it) - Laksa (great broth) - Beef Rendang (earthy and warm) - Roti Prata (it tastes fresh, and has the options of steamed yellow peas which i really enjoyed as it's unique, potato curry or a creamy egg spread) - Braised eggplant (so tender, yum)
