★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The level of service has definitely gone down since the rebranding from the multi-award winning Sante Spa to Amatista due to new ownership and new spa management.
As a new guest to Amatista who is sick, the spa did not offer a grace period for a first-time cancellation of a new client due to an illness but rather encouraged me to come to the spa sick or they will charge me.
In the past, at Sante Spa, the spa concierge team would be able to provide an elevated solution-based approach to positively impact the guest experience along with an empathetic response for the illness.
It was very a very transactional conversation with the Amatista team. “Come to the spa or we will charge you full price”.
The human-centered approach is lacking and I will not be returning to this spa as it is a truly disappointing experience.
As someone who stays at the Shangri-La brand and Fairmont brand ~ There are so many great spas on the island that offer a client experience worth visiting as a regular.
Furthermore, as a social media influencer with a strong following, who attends spas frequently, I know when spa businesses empower their employees to care of their guests and when a business is truly disconnected from the needs of the customer that effectively reduces profit in the future based on this negative guest experience.
This business wants to hand over the bill without any strategy or process in place for guest retention.
So thank you for a lack lustre experience and I hope that your guest retention improves in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a mom to be massage with Eryn today- from the moment you walk in you are so welcomed and it’s such a beautiful facility! Will defiantly be back! (Missing a star because parking isn’t great especially for a 32 week pregnant lady). Otherwise a fantastic experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first experience at Amatista Spa and I am looking forward to booking more services with them. The front desk was professional and helpful and the areas were clean and inviting. I had a massage and my Masseuse was wonderful. He was polite, provided great pressure and was a great communicator. Top notch. Would book again and would recommend a friend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From entering the spa to leaving, it was a wonderful experience. Front desk was friendly, and courteous. Treatment was fantastic and so was the practitioner. Very relaxing and I felt like everything was fully taken care of by the staff so I could just enjoy. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience today was fabulous. Stephanie did a wonderful pedicure and facial. She was sweet, delicate and very professional. She was great. I got a jade stone 90 min massage with Eryn and she was very good and methodical. She got me super relaxed I think I was asleep at some point lol the service was impeccable. Jackie at the reception gave me an outstanding costumer service through the phone and at my arrival. Totally recommend this place. Good job team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ladies at the front desk when we visited yesterday were friendly and knowledgable. We had a few questions about the property and were checking out the amenities for our future stay.
They gave us the full tour of the outdoor Spa area. Can’t wait to enjoy our sessions and the decor was beautiful. Notice the gorgeous Live blooming orchid in the picture.
