I came to Canada in March 2021 as a PR holder and registered with them. I had interviews with 2 companies through Altis and got selected in 1 of them for a 6 month contract starting Oct 2021. It was in the Finance team in the Healthcare industry where I had 12 yrs of experience back in India. I, then moved into a permanent fulltime position at the end of the contract with the same Company. Thanks to Altis Recruitment for giving me a platform to enter the Canadian job market. The team is really good, responsive and keeps a note of our requirements and tries to get the best match for our profile !

I have not had any good experiences with any recruitment partners or managers with this organization. They send emails saying they are recruiting for a position ask if you, or anyone you know is interested in pursuing this opportunity to share an updated resume and when you do within 30 minutes of getting their email they never respond. When you call the number on the signature they never answer. This has happened to me 5 times, all from different company recruitment partners or managers. This very poor relationship building and not client focused.

Cost: they take a cut of pay from the job they hook you up with - not worth it because they treat you less than what you're capable of My experience: started off decent but went down hill quick and I'm glad it did. I picked up some work through being recruited by Allie Brion who was great. She helped me find three temporary positions during a time where I really needed work to pay off school. She supported my journey in a great way. However, when I went back to apply to positions after I graduated I was assigned to Melissa Gut who found me one position. I was unable to make one shift, I called the employer directly and left a voicemail hours before my shift and I called once my shift had started to confirm they recieved the voicemail. The employer wasn't happy I couldn't make it (I was sick) but didn't say anything to me over the phone. Melissa took it upon herself to call and chat with my mom about my absence which is extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. My mom believes you should go to work despite how you're feeling because work will make you feel better. I explained to Melissa I wasn't feeling well and I spoke to the employer directly. She told me I hadn't spoken to the employer or bothered to call and then went on to tell me she believes I'm faking my illness because she spoke to my mom about it... she said if I plan to miss a shift, I should contact them (AltisHR). They totally blacklisted me from every job I applied to after this incident. Stopped returning my calls, giving me offers or replying to my emails. Without their help I scored a secure job in government based on my professionalism and qualifications and have successfully carried the position for close to 5 years now. No need to cut your pay for unprofessional people like Melissa Gut. Don't bother with these people. You can score a job that is higher paying, better for your resume and be treated as a true professional ....do not recommend ??‍♀️??‍♀️

When Altis reached out to me earlier this year, I was surprised they still had my resume on file. Donna, in Toronto, has been absolutely exceptional throughout the entire process of recruitment, hiring, contract extensions, checking in with me, and going above and beyond in dealing with a payroll issue. She found the perfect match for me, and I have to say that this position has been the happiest and most growth-filled time I've had at any workplace in at least a decade. I have not been asked to write a review, but I highly recommend!

Amazing Experience with Julie Page and Colleen McPherson. Excellent people to work with. They helped me get an offer with a large company! They are always fighting for their candidates and only want what is best for them. 5/5 stars for sure.

I had a wonderful experience with Catherine Vince. She was prompt, supportive and gave me such impactful motivation towards my job search. Although I did not get the position I was hoping to get she made the experience seamless. I enjoyed working with the company! Highly recommend Catherine/ Altis.
