K	K John on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I would have taken a picture of my manicure. But, I had cuticle work done here and I left bleeding. The nail polish they applied was dented looking and they just seemed in a rush the whole time.
N	Nikita on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed and will not be going back. I went three days ago to get powder nails and when I got home my natural nail on my thumb was separated from the fake nail. That is not supposed to happen because bacteria and moisture can get caught between and cause fungus as well as force the nail to fall off prematurely. I went back to get it fixed the next day and they filed my nail down again to put on a new nail... only for me to leave with the same problem. I went back for the THIRD time and finally a different person was able to fix it after filing my nail down so thin it was painful. They did not offer me any compensation nor did they apologize. My thumb nail is a different colour than my other finger nails now...assuming the colour has faded within three days.... I'm sure they are sweet people but I am shocked at how unprofessional my experience was. Sad to have a bad experience when I pay good money.

I find lately that they are rushing like they do at Carleton place nail and spa, they don't pay attention to what they are doing, as well as taking phone calls, and doing other services at the same time. Often times I am nicked or hurt in the process of just a basic nail fill. I tip well and I do not think they appreciate it. They try to do to many clients at once and it takes away from a great spa experience. I understand doing more than one person, but not at the expense of the quality of work. They just assume the regulars will keep coming back. I tried to remain loyal, but I did not think they were loyal to me.

However I found I was very rushed and I had my fingers and nails nipped a few times which made for an unpleasant experience. Not sure if it was because she was rushing , but I had made an appointment so I should have received more attention and care .
R	Rosalind Reid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the family run business and I want to support local…BUT the cleanliness, sterilizing, using clean towels per customer and washing down the manicure tables doesn’t happen. If the health department comes to visit they might close down the business until healthy standards are followed.
D	Darren Dumais on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife goes here on a regular basis, and so does my Aunt. Im absolutely fascinated with the designs they come home with. Their prices are great, and honestly I recommend coming here. It feels like a family atmosphere once you come back. They recognize you and remember your name after the first visit, and genuinely are happy when you return. Id also say their quality is great, as I have never heard “Iv broke a nail” since they have started coming here.

K	Kayla Fairthorne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my third time going to Almonte Nails & Spa for a dip powder set and may be my last. The young lady that does your nails goes too fast. She cut my cuticles on all my fingers on my left hand, then applied what I can only guess was rubbing alcohol. I was literally in so much pain and became really nervous anytime she'd go to file or cut my nails. If you're anything like me and have social anxiety, it can be hard to speak up when situations like this happen. I even tipped because everyone else did, but I wish I hadn't, or had only tipped the young man. I believe his name is Wang. He's much more delicate and careful. Plus it could be more clean. She removed her shoes while serving me, and one lady had her bare feet on a pedicure massage chair while browsing her phone. Just not very professional to me. If you want nice nails with designs they definitely can do them, but you should ask them to go slow.
