S	Sebastian Crutchley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife went in on Friday and this on behalf of her. ALLURE NAILS WEST EDMONTON MALL. do not go here for waxing. I got my eyebrows waxed and I now have burns all over my left eyebrow. Burns will scar. They have done nothing but blame me for this. And told me to apply Vaseline. They told me it’s because of medications that I’m not even on and offered a free wax. Not once did they accept that this is their fault. Never coming back here not even for a pedicure. Run. Don’t walk. Run.

It was her first time getting her nails done and the nail tech didn’t talk to my friend at all, making her very anxious. The nail tech also rushed the whole thing even though there were no other customers waiting! She was rude on the phone when my friend called to make an appointment, and then she hung up the phone on her. I think the nail techs name is Chi? I’m not sure but I would not recommend this place to anybody.
M	M R (cndn_hippo) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TL;dr - sure, come here but be SUPER clear on their pricing ahead of time and maybe see if you can pay in advance so they don't try to pull a fast one on you. Not sure what's up with nail places pulling a bait and switch when it comes to pricing these days, but this place appears to be no exception. The website advertised $45 for an acrylic fill, I was quoted $55 (they justified it by saying it was because I was getting a cat eye polish. I've never been charged extra for cat eye in all the years/places I've ever had my nails done), and then was charged $65. I was too tired to fight them on it so I just went with it but unfortunately my nail tech bore the brunt of it by getting a pretty lousy tip. Sure it's not completely her fault they're shady when it times to pricing, but it's not mine either. Pricing aside, she did a very thorough job and I was pleased with it in the long run. I just have to remember to go elsewhere next time I'm in town.
M	Madea Simmons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT GO HERE! I asked for the first picture and they gave me the second one. Than when went back & I asked for them to fix it & put one color. They told me I had to pay $35 dollars. 3 nails also broke in less than a week. It was such a waste of money.

I went in for a full acrylic set, the job was nice enough but the awkward too wide shape square tip the employee made was too painful as there was too much surface area dragging and putting pressure in the middle of the nail. Getting pointed tips would help this, so I went back the next day. Another employee said she would fix it for me. She proceeded to grind them down and then said she was done and it was all she could do. It was so ugly and rough, I asked for my money back and they said no refunds. So they completely screwed up my nails and would not give my money back. Instead they asked me to come back again the next day for a whole new set- meaning I would have to trust them again on top of making my way from my hotel downtown to WEM (which is about a $20-40 Uber depending on the time of day). Such a bad experience after getting my nails done for the first time in a long time.
