When I first started with this company they were very nice and helpful. Lately regardless of pandemic because we are all in its bern over 3 weeks I have been trying to have a representative contact me to add another vehicle to my policy. Guess what am still waiting .??????

Totally unacceptable my vechicle was involved in an accident and havent been able to get an update as to if it will be fixed or what the next step is been 3 weeks since this happend and non of the claim advisors or agents have been able to help

We've used Allstate for 20 years, and parents generation for even longer. They have always been responsive, until we filed our first claim. Submitting a no-fault accident has been a nightmare. Took 3 phone calls to even get the claim submitted properly. It's now been almost 4 weeks since a claim was filed and we have not had contact with an adjustor. Calling every week does nothing. Asking managers to escalate and promise action comes with renewed promises, but still no contact or resolution. Insurance is something you want to have, but never use. However when you need to use it, you expect prompt and responsive service, which this has not been. Will be escalating at renewal time to see if we should keep all our policies or if this is the new norm for them.

It is a good place to purchase insurance and they have some really nice agents. I would give 5 stars for the branch but stay away from the agent Deepti Bhatia !!!!!! She is very unprofessional, rude and ignorant. After she received the direct deposit form from me, she never bothered… -Sending temporary proof of insurance -Did not reply to me even after I told her my temporary pink slip will expire in 10 days, and I cannot drive after that without a proper pink slip (Even told me they never mail the pink slip) -Both these documents were supposed to be sent by Deepti. She did not respond to my calls, texts, and emails after she secured the commission for my policy. Contact - Nicole Prokop, sent me my pink slip in 5 minutes talking to her& Shen-Hsiang Frank Hsu – Helped me with temporary proof of insurance in 5 minutes. They are fast, efficient, respects your time and will provide the best insurance service. I highly recommend them for your insurance needs.

I’ve been driving for over 20 years and through that time I dealt with a number of insurance companies, some were better than other, but NONE were worse than Allstate. If I could give this company negative stars I would, with a big black box warning of β€œSTAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY”. This company provides no service, is not responsible, the agents are not qualified and on top of everything they lie. If you are interested in learning the reasons behind my opinion please read below: 1)In the beginning, when I first was signing up with company, an agents at the Rymal office in Stony Creek made a mistake when entering my payment information, despite the fact that I provided a void check, and the payment bounced, he contacted me within next few days and we got this issue sorted out. Ha apologized for his mistake, but recorded this incidents as β€œa cancelation for non-payment”. I did not learn about this issue until I started to look for new insurance a year later. The agent who created this record refused to fix it claiming that he cannot see it in the system. I went all the way to the manager of the Rymal branch and that person was absolutely unhelpful as well. An official letter that I received from him contained inaccurate information such as wrong dates. The communication was extremely slow, Allstate agents would not answer the phones and would not reply to my emails. 2)I had an accident that occurred in September, where a truck rolled back into my vehicle on the incline. The truck was American and I called the company in USA. They were perfectly polite and totally admitted the responsibility. The truck agency agent asked me to have my insurance company contact her via phone so that she could wave the liability and get my insurance claim reimbursed. Allstate case manager, which was appointed to my case, did not contact the American company, and proceeded to log the accident as 100% my fault despite American company fully accepting the responsibility. I called and checked in with American side and was plainly told that they were not contacted. So the case manager lied to my face. I tried calling my case agent from Allstate and she never picked up nor called back, despite the fact that I left countless messages and sent numerous emails. I was completely ignored by my case manager for several month forcing me to contact FSRA, FCAC and the Ombudsman’s office. Through these actions I was moved up to a Driver Rehabilitation Specialists, from the head office in Markham, who also proved to be hard to reach, absolutely incapable of answering questions and not particularly polite. He and I corresponded for several month again with him replying once in a blue moon, completely ignoring my requests for re-evaluations of my claim as it has not been done properly. On top of this incredibly slow service I’ve been sent several β€œofficial letters” from Allstate that ALL had mistakes regarding dates. It seems to me that either they cannot read/write of they are purposely sending me wrong information to stretch out the time. The only option that is left is to proceed to small claims court, as we have a solid case built up with all of the emails and letters with wrong and nonsensical information. I have also spoken with local and also Toronto-based newspapers and they are open to an idea to run an expose case on Allstate and now I am also talking with media studio, whose owner also had a negative experience with Allstate. He likes the idea of doing a little expose on the matter.

We have been with Allstate for years along with many family members and received fantastic service from a former agent. however recently they refused to renew my auto insurance due to two minor speeding tickets (10km over). After cancelling our insurance they sent us a bill in the mail due to an error in their bill processing over the last year and let us know we had 30 days to pay this large amount or they were sending us to collections. Upon contacting the manager for support we were not even offered an apology never mind a resolution. And the decency to provide a call back rather than an email was also absent. If you are a current customer I suggest getting out now.
