I walked into alliance marine and sport looking for a spare key for my 2003 75 hp mercury and ended up buying a boat.I got them to remove my 75 hp mercury from my old boat and install it on the boat that I bought. The experience was very positive. The staff were all friendly and great to deal with.I would like to thank alliance's owner Dalton for negotiating a great deal on the boat and making sure everything everything went smoothly with the sale. I am new to Winnipeg (& Canada), from the US ...I damaged my trailer at a boat ramp at a lake in the White Shell area.....the service here was outstanding!! I was told they would be able to do repairs (nearly rebuild and re-weld one of the cross-members) by the end of Thursday (dropped the boat Monday night at closing time). I expressed my sense of urgency about company from Nebraska coming to fish the upcoming weekend....Dennis called 3 pm Tuesday and had my trailer ready to go!! I will feel safe on the road again now!! Thanks Dennis!

My husband and I bought a brand new 2018 16.5 Tracker boat from Alliance Marine in August 2017. We have found out that the customer service after they have your money is terrible!!! It took an extremely long time (over 6 months) to get our (Ipilot for the trolling motor and the bimini top) entire purchase for our boat. Our transducer to this day still does not work when we are on plane. And when we took the boat in for its 10 hour inspection they did not do it all. Not to mention that the sales rep offered to get me a blue tracker cap and still has not done that! Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything else from Alliance Marine in Winnipeg and are now considering reporting them to Tracker Head office. Do not buy a boat form this company if you expect any level of service.

I purchased a new Tracker boat at the Winnipeg Boat show in the spring of 2013. I am very happy with the boat itself. As a dealership they over promised and under delivered. I live 4 hour hours outside of the city, we arranged a pickup date weeks in advance but the boat wasn't ready when I arrived and I had to wait a few hours before I could take the boat home, I'm a really easy going guy, this wasn't a big deal. By the time I ran around and got the trailer registered it was ready. and I took the boat home. Never ever had a post follow-up call from them to see if I was satisfied with my purchase, My major issue was that 1 year after owning the boat. As I was doing my own spring inspection I discovered that one of the 2 battery that make up the 24 volt battery bank system wasn't taking a charge, It was the battery that wasn't as easy to see with the panel door open, but after pulling the battery out it was pretty obvious that they put in a really old battery. When I first called the dealership they said this wasn't a problem, that they get them direct from interstate batteries depot so if I take the battery to any Interstate Dealership they would replace the battery under warranty. There aren't any local Interstate dealerships where I live, but the Interstate people were really great and they arranged for their delivery truck driver to meet me in my home town. The tuck driver looked at the battery and showed my the date stamp work and told me it was over 5 years old so it wasn't covered under warranty. I just paid for the battery. The batteries are one of the few things that the dealership would have installed, as the boat basically comes assembled in a package from the manufacturer. And it was little fishy to me that the bad battery was the one that was hidden on the side that you can see as easily when they are mounted in the boat. When I called Alliance dealership, ,they first accused Interstate batteries depot of giving them old batteries. This in itself seems dishonest because you could tell from the appearance of this battery that it was in older rougher shape than the others. Then they asked me to send them a copy of my invoice, and they promised me that they would reimburse me. I scanned and e-mailed the invoice. And have never from them since. Again no follow up from them to see if I was a satisfied customer. I did tried called them a few time to follow up, but gave up. I just find it frustrating when I call a business during business hours and I get an answering machine. And the one time I actually talked to a person, they basically told me I needed to talk to Dalton(Manager), who wasn't there at the time and I never got a call back.

I bought my boat there but I would go through another dealership if I was to buy the same product. The owner is a good guy, but the staff are completely disorganized and ineffective. They also need a course in customer relations - they won't engage you or go out the way for you. I've taken my boat in several times for work only to find they either ordered the wrong part or never did the work. They also had nearly three weeks to prep my brand new boat, but when I went there the ladder was missing, there was no trolling motor and the prop was still missing. Essentially the staff did nothing after I had paid for the boat in full two weeks before. When winter came I took my boat to another dealership to have it winterized. What a difference, the staff were so helpful and completely professional.

I bought a used boat in October 2017. It was a reasonable price. And I was told it only needs some TLC and that there were no repairs lined up for the boat. It also came with a 50/50 warranty. Fact is that after several phone calls and E-Mails I was unable to register the trailer under its VIN number as it has a unclear past and the dealer told me she was unable to track back the last owner of the trailer that had it registered. That trailer turned out to be unusable as is. The boat has a rotten deck, and needs major repairs on the lower unit. So the Alliance Marine Mechanic was either not doing a proper check or was not telling me the truth. I asked him in person if there are any repairs expected. His answer was no. Not only that I have to put in a lot of money in repairs, the trailer should have never been sold the way it was. And I got false information. Asking for the 50/50 warranty on the repairs I get fully ignored. No answer from the dealer.

The Service Department was just amazing, they were so friendly and knowledgeable. I had issues with my motor and I had taken my boat to ANOTHER local marine service place. When I went to pick it up, they had first given me the wrong bill, and then when I got my boat back to my cabin, I was still having the same issues. When I went back to them about the same issue I was told that they were booked and wouldn't be able to get my boat back in for 2 weeks as well I would have to pay again to have it looked at. At that point I decided to take my business elsewhere. I had heard about Alliance Marine and Sport from one of my friends, and decided to take it there. I will NEVER take my boat anywhere else again. The mechanic was so experienced and courteous. He called me and explained what the problem was and gave me an estimate on the repair so I could decide if I wanted the repairs done. He advised me that the part would need to be ordered in and when it came in, the repairs would be done right away. I had my boat back and fixed before I was even able to book another appointment with the other marine service place I had originally gone to. And the mechanic even saved the damaged part to show me!! The other marine place just did not compare to Alliance. I recommend Alliance Marine and Sport to all my friends and family. 110% satisfied

We have been dealing with Alliance Marine & Sport since they opened their doors. We have purchased all of our boats there, the latest being a 22 foot Sun Tracker Pontoon Boat. Any issues we may have had with any of our products were always dealt with in a professional and expeditious manner. We particularly liked how they helped match our boat to our needs. We would highly recommend anyone who is in the market for a new or used boat to see Alliance Marine & Sport first! You won't be disappointed!
