All Star Auto Glass

A little bit of backstory - last year I was driving back to Michigan from Ontario on the 407 Express and took a rock to the windshield of my Subaru Forester. It caused a large crack near the center that quickly spread, and by the time I got back home it had grown to cover nearly half of the windshield. So when I was transiting through Ontario today on the 2nd day of a very long drive to British Columbia and took another rock to my windshield, this time chipping and cracking a section in the lower passenger side, I immediately thought "Oh no, not again!". Since I was headed West and about an hour past Sudbury, I Googled an auto glass shop in Sault Ste. Marie, which was my next stop. I spoke with Debbie at All Star Auto Glass and immediately knew that I'd gotten lucky with the first place I tried. She knew that a replacement windshield for my Forester would be hard to find, but still tried to find one for me, just in case it couldn't be repaired. She also recommended I stop by for an inspection to be sure if I'd need a repair or replacement. As soon as I arrived, the tech at All Star took one quick look at the chip in my windshield and confidently confirmed that he could repair it. He fit me in immediately and got to work right away. About 30 minutes later he'd patched up my windshield so well that I could barely see that there'd ever been any damage. You'd have to know exactly where to look for it and have the eyesight of a bird of prey to see the spot after he worked on it. I was expecting fast, quality work to cost an arm and a leg, but the price came out to be totally reasonable. To top it off, the tech was super friendly and gave some great travel advice to an American passing through Canada. Our neighbors to the north have a well-deserved reputation for friendliness! Long story short - All Star Auto Glass turned what could have been a nightmare start to a cross-continent drive into a brief detour that was ultimately rather pleasant. I highly recommend them if you're need of auto glass work - especially in an emergency!

Quick and friendly service at an affordable price for a small windshield chip. Smooth as if it just came out of the factory. If you're coming in off the highway and you're in a pinch, I highly recommend.

We were travelling through when our RV windshield dislodged and was going to fall out. John was amazing!! Had the seal out and replaced in no time!
