★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is perfect for our family. If church was like this when I grew up I would have gone much earlier in life. We attended the Newmarket church but moved to Barrie and joined their church plant in Barrie..amazing support and great friends have made us feel so much at home. Both pastors are awesome, but the Pastor in Barrie is slightly better looking. LOL!!! If you have too many friends and your life is truly perfect, maybe not your seen. See you on Sunday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started consistently attending Alive Church Barrie this past Fall and have been so incredibly blessed by it. Pastor Nate and Alanna have such a heart for their congregation and the surrounding community. You never feel like a newbie or a stranger with how approachable and chatty this group of people is.
Though the congregation is small, there are still connect groups to attend to get to know each other more. And potluck socials are a recurring thing that also allow good space for building relationships. Every Sunday we watch kids run with excitement to their programs - their teachers have such a heart for what they do. As adults we are so blessed by life-applicable messages delivered with a good dose of humour and vulnerability.
The church is also very active in prayer and the movement of the Holy Spirit, which was a high priority for us when we were choosing a church to get connected to.
We are so glad to call Alive Church Barrie our home church, and cannot wait to see what God continues to do through them.
Come by for a service and you'll go home feeling like a welcomed part of the family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was invited to Alive church through a friend and so thankful for it. We arrived and were immediately greeted with so much love. We felt home right away. We have 3 young kids and they felt so welcomed and comfortable immediately. I truly feel this church is a fully judgement free zone, you really can come as you are and find Jesus. I mean, really find Jesus and learn the real gospel.
