★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were very nice. Site can seem cramped when it's a full house since each site are side by side. We stayed at the vintage Campsite no service. Facility was well kept. No crabs to be caught by the dock. Our neighbours gave us spotted shrimp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location with the views - right by the water. Friendly and helpful staff. Private washrooms and showers. It was not busy during our stay in October, so it was quiet and spacious. Would stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just left this campsite yesterday and I must say we are quite disappointed ! Campsite was fine once we were able to get a site to fit in and the people were very accommodating to find us something that worked for our unit but we were booked for a week and due to circumstances beyond our control (sickness and vehicle problems which we couldn’t get fixed in port McNeil) so had to come to Campbell river to see docto and get vehicle worked on, when I went to office to tell them they would not refund us a penny and just said safe travels lol. I’m sorry for this review but there should be some kind of clause for situations that you can’t control. I understand when it’s very busy but it was not busy at all the few days we were there, and I’m sorry we didn’t really get to see or do much either as we had lots of plans to go venture and see some sites but again it was out of our control. Thank you! Many blessings to you for a great summer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a most delightful spot to stay in a tent, camper or van. Situated with walking distance of the shoreline, Alder Bay Resort is a special place. Staff is excellent and always available. You can use this place as a base to do a number of activities from....kayaking, whale watching, bear watching or access to a wilderness lodge at Farewell Harbour...Berry Island. Contact them well ahead of the season make your summer plans in the North Island 2022...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pristine and perfectly manicured. This is definitely a 5 star RV Park. Spent the days fishing, prawning and crabbing to limit only to come back to a great sheltered marina with easy mooring and boat launch. Great staff that never stop working to make your stay memorable. Super clean washrooms, showers and laundry. And to top it off, a great little restaurant. Thanks!! Will definitely be back.
