Alchemy is professional, efficient, accurate and has made 'numbers' very easy for me so that I can focus on my business and doing the things that I love, which is serving people, not dealing with my books. They create comfort and ease for me to talk about my revenue and I am also excited about discovering the tax savings that I have been missing out on without this expertise ! No doubt, they serve & deliver.

As a sole proprietor, my success depends on not only knowing my strengths, but recognizing when I'm way out of my depth... like I was two years ago when it came to my company's finances. When I approached Michelle Cooper about helping me sort what seemed to be an insurmountable nightmare of WCB and GST and other tax filings, she took the whole mess off my hands, and immediately put me at ease. With Michelle's help, my unfounded phobia of the CRA dissipated. I'm no longer plagued with overwhelming anxiety over business-related taxes, which is awesome, because it means I can focus on the creative aspects of my career. She was equally awesome with my personal taxes. I highly recommend her!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT use this business for your bookkeeping and accounting. When I discovered many issues and questioned them, Michelle Cooper was extremely rude to me, unwilling to admit fault, and even made ludicrous accusations against me personally. I then hired an accountant to go through the mess and redo an entire year of bookkeeping. He wrote a review here as well (David Galloway). He is not a client of Michelle B Cooper but look at Michelle's response to his review! She's trying to save face on the negative review by turning it around on him. He's not even her client! Michelle's company was supposed to file our WorkSafe payroll and they screwed that up as well, filing nil payroll. At the end of the year I had to redo it and pay all the money we owed. MasterCard agreed with me in my dispute with Michelle B. Cooper and refunded me my last payment made to her. To have a charge reversed you have to submit lots of supporting documentation and they agreed with me and reversed it.

She has top of the line accounting software and I appreciate that more than anything as I am a digital nomad and don't have to worry about filing things and mailing and all of the old school things many other firms are still doing. Michelle and her team are also so loving, understanding and helpful. I am happy to have her doing all of my accounting including bookkeeping, corporate taxes, personal taxes and even business coaching :)
