β β β β β Waited 5 minutes to get a table instead, went on drizzling gloomy Monday. Parking lot was small, parked in a reserved spot for another store. I think everyone was just parking where there was a spot. Very little tables inside so if you visit during weekends, there definitely will be a wait.
Overall yummy but I think some items may me a miss. The latte and mocha was great! I usually add sugar but it wasn't too bitter that I had to so I drank it as is.
Steak and Eggs: The taste was bland to me. With the peppers on the scrambled eggs, it made the egg soggy quick but it was the only thing that provided savoury taste. The steak portion was good and pinky which is what I would prefer. I wouldn't order this again.
Duck Eggs Benny: This was pretty good! The sauce used on the benny matched perfectly. The salad was lightly dressed which was okay. Would go back to have this one.
Would recommend anyone to try if you haven't been. I mean you may be surprised and it may be your taste.

β β β β β Probably one of the places I've frequented the most for brunch. We have visiting for dine in and gotten take off more times than we can count. Its a smaller cafe style spot. It was always busy before the pandemic and is probably considered a hidden gem in Markham. They use to have a limited dinner menu too which I hope they bring back.

β β β β β Go early. This place is a hot spot in Markham. Gets busy real quick during peak brunch. Best seats are the ones facing the window!
The Star of this place is definitely the duck and waffles. Comes with 2 very unique sauces. It is a must try.
Coming in next is their French toast. It's a French toasted brioche bun so it's nice and soft inside with some crispy bacon and a nice sweet drizzle.
On my pass list is probably the pork belly and eggs.

β β β β β Great twists on classic brunch and smooth coffee in a small intimate restaurant.
Found this place when looking for a quick brunch spot in Markham. It is quite small and can fill up fairly quickly so I recommend to come a bit earlier. With that said they do have a few tables and a bar seating area.
The coffee is delicious and I recommend this as your starter you won't be disappointed. I was craving a sweet breakfast and opted for the French Toast and the first thing I will say is how soft and fresh they were. I also appreciated the subtle twist in adding parmesan flakes and using a lime infused maple syrup. It was a savory twist on something that was sweet. The only negative thing I will say is that for how large the plate was I only got 3 small slices of the sous vide apple. My partner ordered the Eggs Benny and the richness and surprisingly cheesy hollandaise was a perfect start to the day.

β β β β β Food is fresh and tasty. I had the smoked salmon salad ($12) and portion is generous. The balsamic dressing is just the right amount, and not too sour. It makes the whole dish very balanced.
The matcha latte is not sweet at all. Iβd prefer it to be sweeter so if I order next time Iβll probably ask for some sugar.
The chairs are not comfy at all for a cafe. Not relaxing so one star deducted for that.
Washroom is clean.
Parking can be limited.

β β β β β Entrance looks closed but itβs opened. You can get in.
Customer service awful at the beginning. The woman at the counter was so rude in her way of speaking. This is definitely not a job for her if she cannot stand customers.
However food looks pretty and tastes good. The other waitresses were professional. And I was glad to be served by them. They deserved tips. Really not the one at the counter doing the cashier.
May come back for another try.

β β β β β Cute breakfast spot in Markham/ Unionville! Very small space. Food was good. My friend and I ordered the salmon Benny and shared the pancakes. The Benedicts came out cold on non-toasted English muffins. We flagged it to a server and the chef quickly re-fired two new plates. The pancakes are served with a very small portion of a condensed milk based sauce. In my opinion, itβs a brunch spot where you want to get in and out, enjoy great food quickly but donβt expect to linger too long. The setting, although quaint, is not very cozy/ comfortable particularly when it is busy/ packed. Service was excellent!

β β β β β Second time coming here. Such a cute spot to go for brunch. This time around I had the pancakes and it was delicious. Fluffy, with a tart and sweet topping. Chicken and waffles were delicious. The chicken was seasoned well with a crunchy outside. Little sad my beverage wasnβt instagram worthy after seeing all the nice posts others had. Iβll come again!! Service was great. Friendly staff.
