This is the first time I’ve used an alarm security company and had the most amazing service! Had a rep come the next day to give me a quote (super affordable) then had everything installed the day after. Would recommend to friends/family and will be using this company for future properties.

The owner and staff of this company is extremely accommodating to our needs. They were very friendly and eager to meet and help with every aspect with installing the alarm system for our house. The installer was very efficient and thorough in explaining how the system works. I highly recommend this company and give them 5 out of 5 stars.

Overall experience with AlarmTek was GREAT! Fast and easy, the tech took his time explaining everything to us and going threw the operation of the system, he went above and beyond, I’d recommend AlarmTek to anyone, was able to take over my existing alarm, and that saved me big!

After speaking with a number of alarm companies and being given a hard sell on 'what I need' without listening to 'what I want', I was very pleasantly surprised to be asked by AlarmTek, what did I need from the system. I explained my specific requirements for the system and was met with a 'no problem' response. The installation was professional and completed on time and without any trouble by Dave. We received a full detailed explanation on how to operate the alarm. I have no hesitation to recommend AlarmTek. Great communications with a friendly staff

So far the service has been what one would expect, but the install looked like a DIY job, completed with electrical tape but no wire insulation jacket like a "professional installer" (as advertised) would use. I doubt that camera install would pass an electrical inspections. So far the video quality seems to be pretty good on the cameras seem to have a 10 second delay. Update Nov 26, cameras lasted 4-5 days and they did not work properly from day 1 as they had a 10 second delay, not to mention I was told I was getting 4K cameras, with decals and signs and also got email confirmation to confirm all this but somehow I still ended up with 1080HD cameras instead hmm strange, but again ? "False advertising" but was reassured by Sheri Deobald I was getting same resolution. 4K is 4K resolution and 1080HD is 1080HD, 2 different resolutions so not sure how I can be told I'm being sold one thing but then given another. Oh yea, false advertising. Currently I'm also trying to get my power cord from AlarmTek that was mistakenly taken at time of them taking their product back Nov 9th. They said "Sheldon D their installer" would drop it off but still have yet to hear anything back and it's been 1 week later. I had to follow up again to try to get my proper equipment back so my router would work and give them their proper power cord as well. A few days of given chances, Sheldon continuing to tell me he will drop it off on whatever day and time but of course not follow through. After weeks of this it finally took a letter of demand of legal action sent Nov 25th to Sheri, Sheldon and AlarmTek for my power cord and coincidently the power cord came same night at "10:30" talk about being inappropriate after hours by Sheldon. I tried following up with Sheri Deobald on this issue but was told it was inappropriate to message her about this issue but it was OK to message her prior to all this to collect payment for surveillance system. The site even says I can contact whenever and so did Sheri then its my fault for not being home (According to Sheri that is)!? the tech should be checking equipment before he just leaves the property as well is my thought. After all I thought I was dealing with a professional company. I'm glad I was able to put a stop payment on cheque before having to do business with a company like this that will do and say what they need to get a sale which is unfortunate. BEWARE of their surveillance systems as it really did not work properly from day one even after customer service rep tried to help tweak the system making the cameras set to the highest level and the motion sensor area was max as well as sensitivity so anything to come into camera screen should be detected. The night vision did not allow me to see all of back yard. Also beware I thought it was odd the number Sheri Deobald gives as a contact number is not a Alarmtek number which I thought was odd? ? I would not recommend this product or company to anyone unless your looking for a camera system to show a decoy but there is cheaper methods out there for that. This is a very unprofessional, unreliable mickey mouse outfit.

We've had AlarmTek for a couple of months now. They were great to work with and we love the look of our cameras and tablet and how easy it is to set what we need from the app!
