Best Metaphysical supply store in Canada

I usually love stores like this and all of my favourites are in Toronto (The Rock Store, Happy Soul, Geologic, etc.) The atmosphere is harsh and unwelcoming, all of the displays have kind of condescending signs saying “if you break it you buy it” and another customer was basically reprimanded like a child for touching the pendulums. Two staff members were not wearing masks, they were behind the counter so I was ok with it. But then they came onto the floor and I asked one of them about it because they have a sign on the door saying masks are mandatory. She claimed to have a medical exemption so I didn’t say anything more about it to her but she seemed to be upset and kept asking if I had a problem with it. She gave off a really confrontational vibe so I left the store as soon as I could after helping my mum pick out some crystals for a gift. Overall, I was really disappointed with this experience and wouldn’t come here again. I guess I could understand people not wearing masks but with all the recent cases it felt like the staff really only care about themselves and seem very privileged. Mixed messages with the having to sanitize upon entry but then having staff breathe on you as you shop. We know COVID is airborne, why risk exposing your customers? It just sucks to see :-(

The passion that all members of this store have towards the soul growth of others, and their dedication to positivity, Light, and Love is immeasurable and incomparable. I wandered into Akasha's Den one random Midnight Madness night in Oakville in 2013 or 2014, found a family instantaneously, and I will carry that energy in my heart for the rest of my days. Truly the best esoteric new world store on the planet, no competition.
D	Denise Marshall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akasha's Den is by far my favourite metaphysical shop in the GTA! Quality hand made products and a massive selection, I can't get enough of this store! On top of that, the staff are always extremely welcoming and friendly, it's overall a beautiful sanctuary and healing space every time I walk in. Can't wait to be back!
A	Amber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too long ago I visited Akasha's Den. It had been quite a while and I'm so glad that I did! The staff, owner included, are absolutely wonderful women and are all incredibly helpful. Contrary to the judgmental reviews on here, I found it incredibly refreshing to be welcomed with such warm authentic energy, AND with no judgement when it came to my mask exemption due to an invisible disability. Places like this should be honored for their genuine efforts in /not/ enforcing unlawful restrictions on their customers, unlike most stores in and around Oakville. In addition, I had some amazing conversations with Chanel and will most definitely be coming back to speak with her as she is a wealth of knowledge. Thank you for an amazing experience Akasha's Den!

And I have had friends go there and staff has accused my friend (who has a mental disability) of stealing. And on top of that, they basically yell at you if you don't take your boots off. Seriously your a store and part of your duties is to serve the customer and provide a pleasant comfortable space to shop in. If your to Lazy to take out a mop or a broom at the end of the day to do a little cleaning of the floor, this place isn't for me or anyone resonating on my frequency of love. What a serious joke to make customers feel like they need to revolve around the store. These people are very self centered individuals. Go spend your money somewhere else where your not put into a guilt trip walking right into the store. Very low vibration is felt whenever I walk into this space. I'd give it a zero star if I could.
C	Chanel Halleran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely LOVE this store!!!! They have the cutest little dogs that I call the protectors of the space that add some furry love to the atmosphere. They staff are AMAZING and so friendly and supportive. I will find myself just coming into this store to feel some peace of mind. This is a non judgement zone which I love. My son & I are mask exempt and I never have any issues coming in here which is soooo appreciated. Thank you to the Den for providing such a beautiful space for us all to retreat to in times of need.
C	Corey Collins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of stones. Vibe upon entering was amazing. Two female staff neither of which were wearing masks, shields or coverings or any sort of PPE. One girl was very welcoming and informative. She opened the cabinets for us and invited us to choose what caught our eye. She also listened and made suggestions on what my wife was looking for. The other staff not so welcoming. Our original staff member stepped away to help a customer. When my wife and I seen another interesting piece we were promptly told not to touch the cases and to ask for assistance. Did not see us continuing to browse an issue as early customer was browsing in the same manor as us. Vibe of the store was promptly lost as we paid for what we had and exited the store.

The energy here is so beautiful and I have always found staff to be extremely helpful and amazing. The staff are so incredibly knowledgeable and makes me feel safe in the decisions I make when purchasing items. I came in here after someone in my family passed away and two employees sat me down on the couch and cleansed my energy and I felt so much better when I left that day. It is a very non judgmental space and I always feel free to talk about personal things without hesitation. I feel like I’m in my living room and the space feel cozy. I often sit down in the tarot space and just play with the cards of decks I am considering purchasing. One of the employees even came and gave me some amazing tips on reading cards. I’ve also attended a few sessions with Carol who is an absolute Angel. It has a warm friendly family energy to the space. I am so grateful for this shop!!!
