These people are either unqualified or incompetent. Akal Plumbing was contracted by my home builder, and they made so many errors. 1. On-demand water heater in the main house leaked several times, soaking the baseboards and drywall. 2. Water pipes set in concrete were not sealed correctly/tightly. The pipes leaked water within the set concrete, requiring them to come back, break the concrete, repair the leak, and lay new concrete. 3. One of their plumbers was installing the plumbing piping in the house, and the PVC pipe for the central vacuum was in their way. The worker cut the PVC pipe for the central vacuum, placed his own plumbing pipe running through the section he cut out, and told nobody about repairing the vacuum hose. The drywallers came afterwards and sealed this mistake behind the wall, and I only found out after the house was completed because my central vacuum was sucking airspace in the wall. We had to tear down sections of drywall in a newly finished house, trying to find where the pipe was cut to make the fix. When we found the problem finally in the ceiling, it was obvious that the plumber from Akal cut the white vacuum tube (horizontal), to install the black plumbing pipe (vertical), and failed to tell anyone to fix it. 4. Water tank in laneway leaked a couple months after completion. It turns out the person installing the tank did not install the condensation drainage valves properly, and condensation was backing up into the aluminum pan under the water tank. 5. The sinks were installed incorrectly. Our sink has an overflow drain at the top of the basin. The sink installer filled the exit drain for the overflow with silicone in his attempt to make a water-tight seal, meaning that any water that went into the overflow would never be able to drain out and the hollow portion of the sink would gradually fill up with stagnant, stinky water. We only found this out because the sink itself was defective, and had to be replaced. When they took the defective sink out, thats when their mistake was found. 6. General lack of common sense. When they installed the showerheads, they placed them....8 feet high coming out of the wall. This is a problem because our bathtub fixtures have a switch on the fixed showerhead to switch between the bathtub faucet and the showerhead. Nobody in the home can reach the showerhead without a stool, and you cannot adjust the angle of the showerhead during your shower since it is too high.

I recently contacted Akal Plumbing for a water leak in a rental property. They were very easy to deal with and I was very happy that I finally found a reliable plumbing company that is fairly priced and show up on time. They have 2 locations from what they told me so I highly recommend them!

Akal Plumbing recently did the plumbing for my bathroom. I renovated it from a tub to a stand up shower and absolutely love my new shower hand bar. During all the stages they came in we never had a disappointing experience! Their prices are reasonable as we did receive couple of other quotations and are so glad we went with them, their workers are on-time and friendly, the quality of their work is exceptional!

Akal Plumbing & Heating provides excellent service and a quality product at fair prices. We replaces our boiler from a super hot to a viessman and my wife and I were very impressed with their work. The management team ensured that communication was always proactive and transparent. The work crew was polite, timely, diligent and cleaned up after itself. Other trades can learn from the professionalism of this company. I am happy to recommend this company

Not professional and zero customer service. I called and was told to call next day. I called next day and was told to text address. After sending address I was told "maybe this evening" with no response. I called the next day twice with no response or call back. At least have decency to say your busy or unable to do the job. ******* Amit called me back and explained the situation. The man was forthcoming, understanding of my frustration and honest about the situation thereby taking responsibility. Amit was kind enough to offer a courtesy gesture. Although I did seek out another company for the job, I will consider Akal plumbing again in the future based on their follow-up and proven commitment to customer service.

Akal recently serviced our heating system. They were very professional and great to deal with. They scheduled us and came on time. The tech was very friendly and informed us about our heating system that we had no idea. It’s always great to get educated on the heating boiler. I would highly recommend them
