★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our favourite Japanese restaurant in Richmond! The seafood is always fresh, and the Nabeyaki Udon is the closest I've found to Japan. We've been going here for about 3 years, and the service and quality has stayed consistent which I really appreciate. I'd definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service and communication. While the sashimi was decent, the cooked items did not worth the price. The staff had mistakenly given our dish to another table who had arrived much later than we did. We had to follow up twice and waited for 20 minutes or more for the remaining item. There was no proper acknowledgment of their wrong doing. Staff was unprofessional and appeared confused. The experience was unpleasant and definitely did not match the high price tag. We will not come back. We only considered eating here because we needed something from one of the stores at the plaza. Not worth coming here if you are looking for an enjoyable dining experience.

They have everything we where always looking for, from beautifully presented and tasty dishes to very pleasant atmosphere and setting. Food comes quick and servers are very polite. If I can give more stars I would! Keep up the good work, will always be going back for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A premium quality sushi experience. The takeout was even wrapped in a cloth like bag. The hotate nigiri was juicy and sweet. The goose liver melted in your mouth. The uni was creamy and the salmon miso aburi was pretty and tasty. Also, the sushi rice was a perfect firm and chewy texture with the perfect amount of vinegar and sweetness. You do pay a bit more here, but the quality is there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. We ordered delivery due to the pandemic but would love to try fresh at the restaurant next time. The food was packaged and presented well. No fault of the restaurant, but the delivery guy was very slow and by the time the food arrived the fried food was soggy, chicken was hard, and sushi started to warm up.
