Air Technico

I have a 30 year old system and I needed to make sure it could still work a little longer until I finally replace it. The technician, Justin, was very professional, wore a COVID mask when inside, and took all the necessary time to educate and explain to me the various parts of my system. I appreciate the honesty and I will definitely be calling back when I decide to fully change my thermopump/furnance.

When someone does a great job it must be recognized. My turn to thank the people at Air Technico, starting with Nathalie who when I called was pleasant, polite and patient to listen to my question. Gave me the needed information and called back same day to schedule a service call. Justin before arriving called me as I had requested. He was neatly dressed, punctual and very knowledgeable about this product. I was very great full for his evaluation and recommendation in replacing only the heat exchange motor versus the whole unit. This was a big saving and in long run gave me confidence for future service calls that may be needed on my heat pump and possibly furnace. A Big thank you to the team.

Air Technico made time and scheduled my furnace change quickly. The rest of the system will be installed in about 3 weeks. Installation went fine, the technicians are very professional. They took care to protect my floors and left the area clean. Dealing with the owner was easy and very informative, all questions were answered which made taking a decisiin easier. Overall a good experience. I recommend this business.

I can’t say enough of how much I appreciate their service. I called Sylvain regarding my HVAC system not working. Even though I was not a client of theirs, he came that same morning. We all thought I needed to change the motor, but once he diagnosed the problem, he fixed it without having to change the motor. He was fair and honest, and he has gained a lifetime customer in me. We had our defective Haier wall mount mini split replaced with a new Daikin model from Air Technico. The purchase price was lower than other local AC companies. The installation team was awesome. They made sure everything I requested was done. They pointed out the incorrect slope in the wall from the previous owner and corrected it. They followed the same path outside for the lines to the condensor due to discoloration in the vinyl siding. They even put clear silicone on the tiny holes from the old flashing to avoid water leaks. Showed me how to avoid spider web blockages by pouring water in the drip pan to clear the drain line monthly. A disconnected box was installed outside per code. Overall, a great experience by the installation team. Very pleased and reassured that the work carried out was professionally by an experienced qualified team.

Update May 16 2022: Justin came to repair the issue (2 1/2 hour job). It was a faulty installation resulting in a leaky valve, which emptied the refrigerant and lead the machine to fail. Hopefully this was a permanent fix. Update May 11 2022: Only one year after installation, a major leak in one of the valves that was installed in May 2021 was discovered and the unit no longer works -- right in the middle of a heat wave. This is the 2nd service call in 1 year on a brand new heat pump. Needless to say, I am very disappointed after having paid so much for a new system only to deal with multiple issues that are installation-related. Let's see how quickly they get this resolved. From the beginning, the experience with Air Technico was stellar. Sylvain was prompt and responsive in answering my questions and communicated with me via text to assess my needs and recommend the right solution. It was never a struggle trying to reach him or scheduling a visit. I finally settled on a Daikin Central Heat Pump and the installation took place weeks ahead of schedule. The technicians were one time, extremely professional, kept my house meticulously clean and spent as much time as needed to explain everything to me thoroughly. They also installed my Ecobee thermostat and showed me how to use it. I could not recommend Air Technico enough as I have had very bad experiences in the past with other companies who never return calls and seem to have no interest in gaining new customers. Sylvain and his team instilled great confidence in the company and I know they will be available for servicing my new machine if I ever have any issues. The Air Technico Team is FABULOUS!! Our two heat electric pumps and furnaces were almost 30 years old and needed to be changed. After three months of extensive research on brands and installers, we had narrowed down the selection to Lennox and Daikin. After meeting with various potential installers it quickly became clear that Air Technico and Daikin were the best choice. Sylvain and his Team visited our home a number of times and clearly detailed all the specifications and the installation plan. The installation was performed (to my demanding specifications) by the highly competent and efficient Air Technico Team guided by Stephane (Lead Installer) with military precision! They completed all the work to remove the old units and install the new ones within one day and left the site sparkling clean. Everything was working perfectly before they left and Justin (Lead Technician) returned the following day to complete the final programming and instructions for use. After sales support has been equally impressive with rapid follow-ups for any of our questions or concerns. Our experience with Sylvain and his team was fabulous. We had a complicated situation, removing an old oil furnace and replacing it with an electric heat pump and furnace, which needed to go in a room that was very constrained in size and connect to older ductwork. Sylvain not only found a solution that worked, he fielded repeated calls from me about one aspect of the problem or another - including in the days leading up to Christmas. He was never impatient with me and worked hard to find the best solution for us, checking and re-checking his calculations. He offered multiple options and his opinion on which might be the best choice for us. The team who installed the furnace, led by Stephane, worked incredibly hard in frigid temperatures to install our new equipment and make sure that we understood how it worked. The installation was perfect. The office staff were also fabulous, changing the date of our installation without question to allow us to use up the remaining fuel oil in our tank. Our house is toasty warm, and now more environmentally friendly than before. We're thrilled with every aspect the service from Air Technico. Merci!!
