Love this area. I grew up in the Soo as a kid, having gone here a few times to hike, pick wild blueberries, and see the pictographs. I recently went this summer and had both my brother and boyfriend to see this beautiful place. The water is clear blue and green refreshingly cool, with beautiful landscapes in the water. It is difficult to see the pictographs now because of (what looks like) orange algae, and some weathering. But still a very special place to see. The hike is short, requires a bit of technical skill, but doable.

This is unlike anything I have seen before. Could not walk on the stony flat-platform beside lake due to the current. The spot is amazing.

easy hike with helpful info guides, the rocks by pictographs will be slippery, and some people including myself walked through bare feet for better grip and friction.

A short but fun and surprisingly technical hike to the water. There are some pictographs on the rockwall but there is a pretty slippery ledge to walk on to get to see them. To get a glimpse, there are two small pictographs, go down the rock steps and walk out to the end of the chain where you'll find a couple of them.

Just wow. This is a must stop if you are coming this way. There is a short hike to get to the pictographs but it is worth it. We did the hike with two toddlers so it is definitely doable. The views are breaktaking and the pictographs might interest those who are into history.

Phenomenal hike and view. This place really is a gem in this area and is definitely a must see if you’re passing through. There is no park admittance fee, and is open to everyone. If you’re time constrained, the hike can be done in less then 20 minutes. However it is well worth stopping and taking a moment to enjoy the view. I’d advise staying away in the rain however as the trail and pictographs may be hazardous in slippery conditions.

One of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. The hike down to the water is decently challenging, especially when wet. There are two fantastic side paths leading to chasms in the rock that are breathtaking. Down at the pictographs the ropes are sliced, so you cannot access the farthest pictographs, which is a bit of a let down.

Absolutely amazing piece of history and breathtaking view. Energy is amazing. Small little hike, big parking lot. Please do not touch the pictographs. We noticed a lot of people touching them and they fade from finger contact. Just stunning and absolutely worth a stop.
