★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meat is really good, and the couple are super nice. As a warning, watch out for the dogs when driving in. When I got there one dog jumped up on my drivers side door and scratched it really bad a few times.

I have been striving for the past decade to build for myself a local economy (I believe firmly that if not checked, global economy and rampant availability of food and goods from "elsewhere" will be a significant contributing factor to the ruin and downfall of the earth and the humans who inhabit it) and with AE Natural Meats I have put another solid brick in the wall. I grew up on a farm, and knew what I was looking for. The chicken was the best I've had in decades (just the right amount of fat without being greasy, and very tender all through), the minced beef, the Oktoberfest sausages, the thick-cut bacon (THANK YOU for the rind! and the lovely fat from which to render my own lard!), the stewing beef (fork-tender) - all were the right smell, the right texture, the right colour, and ultimately, the right taste. If you're looking for an alternative to grocery store meats (or even an alternative to "corporate natural meats" such as are sold in nearby "emporiums"), look no further - this is it.
And by the way, the dogs were lovely and utterly well-behaved.
