★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "After interviewing several companies we decided to go with AFB because we liked what we heard from them and all the positive reviews on line and in the media and in the end I must say these guys really came through. They were professional, knowledgeable and really took care of us throughout the entire process. We highly recommend them. Our only complaint would be that they arrived everyday in a big sprint truck which took up half the driveway but they made up for it by trimming our trees out front no charge."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After much procrastination we finally decided it would best to hire professionals to renovate our dated basement and living room rather than tackle it ourselves. What was supposed to be a simple update turned out to be the highlights of the House. They pitched a few ideas that we never considered and the results were beyond expectation. Did a built in tv and fireplace which turned our amazing and really stands out. Added beam and panel ceiling and pot lights that just put the living room over the top. Basement was completely gutted and new spray foam insulated walls installed which made the basement much warmer and got rid of the damp smell. They managed to hide the unsightly ceiling support beams with creative boxes that blends seamlessly with the overall look of the basement. Walled the HVAC and laundry room that made it look like a high end finished laundry perfect for relaxing/watching some TV and getting the laundry done. Projects were done in stages and finished just about on time as agreed...Looking forward to redoing the main bathroom soon with their expertise and creative ideas at a fair price as compared to several quotes we got from the local Reno flyers. Thanks a million for the great work.

The renovation exceeded all of our expectations and was completed on time and on budget with minimal disruption in our household. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible company. The sales pitch was incredible. They could do my kitchen renovation for my $20K budget.
On starting day, the contractor they hired didn't show. They sent another contractor and another, each one not showing. The renovation was supposed to start in June, but it started in October and because the contractors didn't show up when they said they would, it took until March to finish. In March, one of the owners called me to tell me his partner had spent all of the company money on gambling, and they wouldn't be able to finish the job. I eventually had to find another contractor and got the job finished on my own, but I was out $1200 from what I paid them. Worst contracting company. Aside for the above, very poor workmanship too, as these guys don't own the contractors, they subcontract, so it's luck of the draw in terms of who will be doing the work on your house.

The basement is a sanctuary, retreat, beautiful flooring, moulding, built in entertainment centre is the focal point and everyone wants to be in the basement over the main floor because it's so cozy and inviting. Trevor and his crew made my 18year old home compete in today's trendy, luxurious market. A realtor told me the minimum amount I paid bought me three times the value in the market. Do I stay ? Or do I sell ? Sooo tempted to sell but the gorgeous finishes have me wanting to stay. Simple beauty. I highly recommend the company for any work you need done. You're getting high quality, dedicated workers, advanced workmanship and they really care about their client. It's like a friend was working on the job for me. 10/10⭐️
