I have been a ADT member for many years. But lately I am seeing a downward trend in their customer service. When I call ADT customer service, I get disconnected after waiting in queue for 20 to 30 minutes. After calling 3 times, I get to a tech (Enrique sp?) who puts me on hold for another 30 minutes. I wanted to know how to change/replace the battery of the pulse monitor. He seemed to have no idea even though he was a tech. He could not answer any of my questions, and then just disconnect me. I call again...get another tech who puts me back at the beginning of the queue again. I am not happy that I had to spend so much time on the phone and still not get any resolution to my problem. ADT customer service has deteriorated a lot but their sales people are very good only up till you become their customer!

If I could I’d put -0 as a review. I’ve never had such a horrible experience. They are not helpful and don’t know their information. I was transferred at least 10 times and put on hold for over half hour and called back many minutes later only to be told that they can’t help me with what I need. Please don’t use them as you’ll never be able to get the info you need.

If I could give MINUS 0 stars I would. TELUS should be ashamed of themselves!! The WORST SERVICE!!! TOTAL SCAMMERS!! Cant understand a word they are saying on the phone, waited 1.5 hours just to speak to someone about getting another add on service. They kept moving me to different departments only to end up speaking to someone i originally spoke to. The techs are not even in this Country. They quoted me an astronomical price, told me i need to change my contract. The sales department I am certain are on a quota and need to constantly upsell or get people to change their contracts. The only reason i am using ADT is because it came with the house!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! if your house gets broken into you can't even get someone on the phone. I am shocked TELUS has anything to do with this company!!. RUN!!!! I am cancelling everything going with AVANTE. worth the money!! ADT does not care about your home security or safety , they just want you to upgrade your contract now they are TELUS - I get this is a business, but you are dealing with peoples safety and security!!!!!! They are scammers, deplorable!!!!!! Expected more from TELUS

Absolutely horrible customer service & useless! Do NOT sign up with ADT. I have been using their services since 2006. Today my house was armed (stay) , the alarm sirens went on for 6 minutes due to my backyard door was open. The company did not contact me at any point to check if my property was at risk of a break-in. If this was a Robbery my life would’ve been at danger. I called the customer service, they advised me that system had no issues. I requested that a technician come visit to inspect my device, the first available service time is in one week.

Was an ADT customer for years. Moved and with it was bamboozled into signing a Telus contract. Technician did not bring all the equipment…no follow up and I was told to leave my fully functional ADT system at the old house as I was supposed to be updated(such a joke) for free. Tried calling…impossible trying to get a live agent Trouble with installation and false alarms…constant Lack of any kind of service or response to the constant false alarms So after a very long battle with their dreadful automated system I get a convincingly supportive agent. Nothing but empty words…no follow up, no technical support and certainly no useable system as it constantly faults out. Please tell me if there is a way, I can cancel this bogus contract with this deplorable company? Angry and fed up after less than 2 months with zero service. Am adding to my review as the situation has been resolved. The new technician was pleasant and knowledgeable and after replacing entry sensors and resetting my system is working as it should have been months ago.

Been a customer for a while got a deal to save $10 a month at the time saving was with Telus price to expensive moved on spoke to customer service dec 21 /2021 told would be credit to $25 kept my end of the bargain haven’t missed a payment when you talk to a customer service for your company you assume they are talking for the company spoke to a nice guy had to talk to his supervisor at 4,30 pm in meetings seriously? They just didn’t want to talk No wonder their review are so terrible Companies out there cheaper by at least $10 a month same service

Unbelievable unprofessional, horrible Customer Services, Management and useless Escalation Centre. Not to go into details, but we seriously could be hurt and electrocuted as a direct result of the Customer Representative orders, because they have no idea which model we have! (?!?!?!?) The Security Services company doesn't know which model they installed in our house and how to fix it? Their only suggestion was to upgrade (excuse me? Why would I 'upgrade'?! I need the current one to be fixed!) and ONLY with the new 3-year contract. Unbelievable!!! I canceled my account. Never again.

Low battery prompted 2 plus hours on phone to try and get answers. The ads run by tells to fill the time time are very annoying. Why anyone would join a their team with a poor approach to service is a mystery. Constant beeping made it difficult for children to get to sleep. Transferred 5 times. Had to identify myself 3 times despite internal transfers. Since telus bought ADT service and costs have been terrible. They want $167 plus dollars to close my account for poorly run business!!! Called the day after my ordeal with telus as I was told. Was supposed to deal with a manager. Loyalty club needed personal info once again. No manager available. They need 24 hours to get back to me. I guess my family and I need to put our lives on hold. Managers I was told work from home and are not readily available. Had been a long time customer of ADT. You should get rid of the loyalty club since it 8s no more than a sham,
