He ignored my emails about the missing glass top and only offered a portion of the cost when I posted this review - he is now saying he wont pay the full cost unless I take down this review. The terms of the contract state the client has 60 days to report damaged goods and 9 months to report entirely lost articles (he told us our 18 days was too long). Other terms of their contract state the movers must have access to the location. And they did - directly across the residential street from the door. We notified ADT that we were unable to secure parking directly in front of our door as it was street sweeping day and we have email proof that this was approved. If the conditions were unsafe (what a joke - they just didn't want to walk the extra 20 feet) they should have terminated the service and left (instead of badgering their client to have cars moved so they could instal an easy-ramp and not walk up stairs). ---- Original Post: There were a lot of problems with this service that I place squarely with management (the movers were unhappy employees and this was part of the problem). Our biggest issue is that the movers misplaced the glass patio table top - which happens everywhere I'm sure - and management told us they wouldn't do anything about it because we didn't let them know right away. It is 24 X 24 inches so it is small and easy to slip between boxes, which is where we thought it must have been. It wasn't until we completely unpacked, checked with the landlords of our old place to make sure it wasn't left behind, that we contacted the moving service. There was 18 days between the move and when we contacted their admin - and they took 4 days to respond. The president told us flatly that too much time had gone by, and didn't respond to any further messages - including where I listed out all the problems we had with the service, and to ask for compensation for the glass. Now we're looking for an affordable glass cutting service, having to spend $ and time for their mistake. Other than this -- know that if you can't reserve a spot on your side of the street for their truck directly in front of your house - the movers will whine incessantly. We had reserved a spot for them directly across the quiet residential street (about 20 more feet) and they claimed it was too far to walk and too dangerous. They demanded I knock on my neighbours doors to have them move their cars (it was raining this day and I was busy with the move but had to run around and knock on at least a dozen doors to no avail). We realized the reason they wanted it directly in front is so they can lay out a metal platform directly from the stairs to the truck, decreasing the amount of stairs they need to walk!). Also, don't rent polar boxes to move your stuff because they'll whine incessantly that they're too heavy. It wasn't until I told them to stop and I would move the boxes myself (as I had been doing within the apartment while packing - as a woman easily a third their size) that they stopped complaining to me, when my partner showed up they directed their incessant whining to him. Next time I will gladly pay for a more expensive service - I ended up paying more this service anyway in time, frustration, stress and added costs.

Coordinating the move with Jack was smooth. I appreciated his prompt responses. I didn't appreciate that the company that they subcontracted the move to lost a bunch of items during the move. I'm guessing this occurred because they didn't tag all of my items properly when they first moved my stuff. I am still without my bed slats waiting on replacements from the bed company (1 month after the move...)

I would recommend Tristan and ADT team to everyone. Coordination was handled in professional manner, emails and voicemails didn't go unanswered. On my moving day, there was 15cm of snow, and the team came ON TIME at 9am, so that's a true professionalism! After moving was done, there were small items that were left in the truck (partly my fault, I should have double checked the truck before they left), and Tristan had them sent a couple of days after.

We’ve used ADT for three separate moves and every time they have been punctual, extremely efficient, and careful with our belonging. We’d also engaged them to help with packing, and they were able to do more in hours than we’d done in weeks before that. On top of it all, the movers’s professionalism and good nature took a lot of the stress out of the ordeal. I highly recommend ADT for all your moving needs.

I would definitely recommend this company. From getting a quick reply when sending an request for quote. Friendly and professional. I booked for one date, confirmed but on my end, it could not work. In such a busy time, they did what they could do change the move date, with ease. No trouble. The day of the move, they showed up on time and cheerful. The team: Donald, Donnie and Robert were fantastic! They created a very stressful event into a fun and stress free event! They are amazing and very organized. I will definitely use them again!

We recently used ADT for our move and we couldn't be more impressed and satisfied! Richard was very clear with instructions and courteous in his service over the phone. We had to change our moving date which was done without hassle and were offered the lesser rate since we were finally moving outside of the busy period. Hector (I think was his name) and his crew showed up bang on time, and despite the heat were extremely friendly and efficient. Showed up at 8:15 and had a full truck unloaded at our new home by 11:15. Nothing missing, nothing damaged. We would not hesitate to recommend ADT and would definitely hire them for a future move.

What an amazing company. From the first call to the last thank you it was clear that we were dealing with a group who were professional, courteous and who knew their stuff. Estimates were completely on target, and questions I didn't even think to ask were answered (thanks Tristan!). The crew that came were phenomenal! Thank you to Chris, Doug and David not just for your hard work and care of my mom's precious possessions (and there were LOTS of them!), but for your good humour, kindness, honesty and wisdom. It helped make a busy and difficult couple of days so much easier. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone.
