If I could give a zero I would. This provider over sells and under performs on ALL levels. You have zero system control whether it be timing of runs, type of runs to system function, also they charge you for everything, if they even give you the right advice to begin with. Reporting is garbage. You can't transfer an Employee at the most logical time, the first run of the year and you have to tell them the work around. You have to ask "mother may I" for anything and it takes you calling and calling to, if you're lucky, get it in the next few months. Took my "Account rep" about 6 months to finally call me after asking many many times who it was. THEN after I spoke to her for over an hour in December, called back in January like it was the first time we ever spoke! She "didn't take notes" the first time, come on! Zero control over ROE's You literally have to know what you're asking for or they don't generally understand (I had an agent ask me what I meant by FTE). Countless ignored tickets, even after talking to a "supervisor" countless times. Can never speak to the same person twice so you are re-explaining your issue over and over. I have waited in queue on the phone for over 2 hours, multiple times as sending an email gets zero results and sometimes so does the call. I could go on but I won't. As a payroll professional it concerns me that people who don't know what they are getting into are not getting the correct service or product. The system itself isn't the actual worst,has some ok functions but its the terrible service and under trained people doing the work that spoils it to such an aggravating place. I would never recommend this company to anyone large or small.

Horrible. There is no way to describe the complete and total waste of time this company is. Do not use ADP as a service. They routinely miss pay dates for us, or pay a day ahead of schedule, shut down their website for multiple business days and then blame the end user. Honestly, these guys are crooks. You'd actually get better service from legitimate criminals.

ADP failed to process my scheduled payroll TWICE in the last 4 months! The first time was Oct/17 (it took 2 weeks for them to fix it) and the second time was Feb/18! They are a global company and have Canadian clients such as banking institutions, oil & gas companies, small businesses (such as myself), etc. They promised back in November 2017 to fully compensate me for the first mistake which they have not. Now, it happened again! They were not even aware of the errors - I had to contact them to let them know. This last time, I finally made contact with someone on Feb 5th (the scheduled pay date was Feb 1st) and when I told the woman on the phone that I wanted the money deposited that day (the 5th) she told me flat out, that's not going to happen (quote). The next day I spoke to a manager who told me the same thing! He said he would contact me when he knows something (quote) and I have not heard from him since! His excuse for not calling me until Feb 6th was that his phone was broken (quote)! I guess his cell phone and email were broken as well. Most of my calls were directed to someone located in Ontario, Vancouver and the east coast. I know quite a few companies that use ADP and I want to share my experience.

No Star. The worst payroll company ever!!! Absolutely no communication. A new random person every time you call. No supervisors to deal with mistakes or inquiries made on their part. They screwed up 125 peoples T4's, it took us a week to sort it out and then they said they would issue new T4's until the end of the next month because that's just their schedule with CRA. They should be sued and shut down!

I will not recommend ADP to any company. their have constantly staff turnover and lots of mistake that I end up paying for. I have to correct every thing that I send them all the time. I cancelled the service since Dec. 22/2018 and they are still take money from my Bank!!! service charge !! for what I am doing Payroll in house since Jan. 2019. they are taking money on Jan. Feb. march. small increments. PLEASE DO NOT USE ADP THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE AT ALL! Ciredran payroll are much much better. I will be contacting BBB for the error and money they cost me. Every pay period I have to correct their error and they charge me for it. in Jan. 2019 they paid one of my staff and I did not send them a report or any paperwork asking them to pay the staff, they just did it on their own!!! how does that!! Oh, and they charge me for their mistake. Payroll and your bank will be controlled by ADP.

We really should be able to give zero stars. This is absolutely the worst payroll service in existence. The customer service lie constant about completing actions, then follow up with I'm sorry the information was inappropriate. NO accountability for their terrible service and mistakes and errors, which we still end up paying for even after they assure you they will not bill for their errors. Avoid at all costs.

Only giving a 1 star as I can't give lower. Our experience has been the worst ever. Customer Service is non-existent. No one is accountable, can communicate or even seems to care. Even the "managers" act the same way. Always excuses why staff don't complete ticket requests or why no one even follows up to answer questions. There is no where to escalate in the cases of emergencies. I was even told once that the online chat was only for quick questions and I had to call customer service for possible lengthier discussions. BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME TO SIT ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I call!!! PLEASE DO NOT use this company for your payroll!! Save yourself the frustrations and headaches we have and continue to endure. I don't normally leave reviews to complain, but any new possible ADP customers need to know what they are getting into. I wish I had. BEWARE.

Over a 4 hour hold time. NEVER have I dealt with a payroll company with that long of a hold. I used Ceridian for 3+ years and not ONCE did I have a hold time longer than 10 minutes. Payroll issues are urgent and need IMMEDIATE attention. Not attention long after the working day is done! Your live chat hasn't worked in over 6 months. No one can access their web portals and the admin staff at work can't fix that, give people their passwords or unlock their accounts (something Ceridian DOES allow us to do!) And won't mail T4s to employees insisting that electronic is good enough but Canadian payroll legislation states NO. They MUST be provided with a physical copy of a T4 unless the employee agrees IN WRITING for an emailed copy. Only ROEs can be solely electronic. This is ridiculous and we're switching to Ceridian as soon as we possibly can! A payroll company that doesn't even know payroll legislation is highly unethical and unacceptable. You're being reported to the CRA.
