★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If we could give 10 stars we would! Tangaroa is a 1969 Stephens aluminum boat with a corroded upper aft deck and shaft logs that looked like a sponge cut in half. Jim and Brody were amazing. They looked at what we thought was a massive and overwhelming project and assured us that it was all repairable. In short order we had a new...level..beautiful aft deck. They even added some support stringers below and since the original stringers weren't level they created tabs to bring the deck level. 100 people can dance to RaRa Rasputin on that deck now.
As for the shaftlogs...Jim and his calm demeanor figured out how to fix it and Brody executed with precision. Btw Brody is an artist with a weld. They are beautiful.
Besides my husband...Jim and Brody will be the only company we come to for welding. We bring Tangaroa over here from Vancouver Island just for them. Oh and Jim is even making me some hammock poles for the boat!!
