Across The Floor Dance Centre

Joe & Sabrina have been like family to me and my children. My children have been part of their dance company before they named it Across the Floor. They are both artists and have performed in so many different elements of the entertainment industry and are not only highly educated in their art; extremely talented, but it's their passion & dedication to turning out top talent that i'm drawn to year after year. Joe is a choreographer extraordinaire, and Sabrina runs a tight ship working with parents, and doing a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to keeping schedules organized, costumes ordered and sized, managing competitions and all parental communication. There is nothing that throws her off! Thanks to Joe & Sabrina my kids have excelled beyond my expectations and my eldest was accepted into the Regional Arts program for dance. In addition to learning many different genres of dance, my kids have formed friendships at the studio that will last a lifetime. They have also learned many important life lessons about how to treat others; team etiquette, and Joe and Sabrina have been very generous with their time in helping me get my kids through the mess of covid and all the emotional roller coasters and conflicts we went through as a family during this extremely difficult time. Many families may come and go, or want to try new clubs for various reasons but I firmly believe that there are different hurdles dancers and parents have to adjust to when they seek out change. For us, we have had a consistent experience with ATF who is not just a business but a resource for our kids to develop and grow physically, mentally and beyond. Thank you both for all your support throughout the years!

My daughter learned more acro moves here in 3 months than she did in 3 years in the recreation program at Oakville gymnastics. They also moved my daughter in a skills appropriate class unlike some other studios who just keep her at a level according to years of experience and not level of.... Kids leave after class with a teacher dismissing them so no lack of safety more than any other public place. Any child there unattended is parents choice - yes front desk often unattended, but for small classes, small cost....leave a message... still gets my vote for 2 thumbs up.

The owner does not know how to treat young children with respect. He physically kicked out a young female dancer on the streets on a cold winter day because she was talking back. Not fit to work with children of any age.

Both my daughter and son have danced at ATF Since it opened! The studio director and staff truly know how to bring the EXTRAORDINARY out of every child!

We feel very fortunate to have found Across the Floor Dance Centre. Our son initially started at a different studio, and it felt like night and day when we discovered ATF. We feel like we are part of a community, and not just a number. Everything about the studio is geared towards making the kids better dancers and better people. Joe and all of the teachers set the bar high, but they also provide amazing instruction, support and encouragement for the kids to be able to reach it. I cannot believe how much my son has learned, and how much his dancing has improved over the past year. He is not only a stronger more competent dancer, but he is also a more confident kid. I highly recommend ATF!

We have been with ATF for four years and love the studio. Their focus on technique is important to us and my daughter has grown so much as a dancer under Joe's direction. The small class sizes increase their development, confidence and ability to work well with their fellow dancers. We highly recommend Across the Floor.

Attention to detail and personal growth. If your dancer wants training at an elite level, you need not look any further than ATF. Quality from the front desk to the dance studio floor. Teachers that care you get top value for your dancer. Joe and his team will push you to expectations you never knew you could reach. We have seen growth in our dancer’s confidence and ability. ATF instructors develop the dancer from the inside out. Strongly recommend you setup a tryout session and let your dancer tell you in their own words if they feel growth and challenge. Mine did and has not looked back.

My child attends ATF and loves her class. She always is made to to feel like she can do and achieve anything. Her confidence has increased so much since she has started. The staff are so welcoming and full of energy. The studio is always clean. Truly feels like a we are part of the dance community and we love being part of it!
