Stuck without hot water and told that they would call around for a part last night but that was the last I heard from them. I called this morning and they have no more information than that they hope the part comes in today. Can't tell me the price either. First impression is not very good. If I were you I'd try another company first.

โ โ โ โ โ Back a few years ago, we had required a new boiler, Oliver had arrived and assessed matters and we were presented with an agreeable estimate, where as another place had added a long list of bells and whistles for a head shaking outrageous estimate! I had plenty of questions that Oliver answered in detail and he took a sample of the infloor circulating fluid and said it came "bang on" where it should be, other companies I wonder if they would have been that outright honest! So, all went well with installation of the new boiler, though just a day prior to the expiry of the one year installation warranty, by chance I had noticed a leak in which was promptly and courteously repaired for free.
Today, we again had Academy in for the yearly maintenance on the boiler, forced air furnace, a kitchen faucet install and garburator removal. The young fella was friendly and we discussed matters regarding the cleaning of the inside of the boiler unit and he did a fine job of such and all else and the bill presented was also aggregable. I must also give a shoutout to good natured Michelle who tends the phone, she's always a pleasure to speak with!

Have used their services on a couple of occasions in the last few years, our experience with them has always stayed a consistently positive one. Michelle, the receptionist and appointment scheduler has been and continues to treat us with respect, understanding and professionalism. For a "peace of mind", we had Jason, a very friendly and extremely knowledgeable serviceman come to our home today and provide us with a one their inspection and cleaning preventative maintenance services in preparation of another Alberta winter. For just under $200.00 it's worth the cost of having this service done before the temperatures get nasty cold and they are busy as hell. Highly recommend giving them a try should you be in need an inspection/cleaning or any service that needs to be done.

โ โ โ โ โ Our furnace was making noises on a Friday night and by Saturday morning, we woke up with no heat in the house. Thankful for Academy Mechanical's 24/7 emergency services. Called their Spruce Grove office and was able to get someone out to fix it ASAP. Ryan was great to deal with and made us comfortable with the decisions we had to make. We also liked how he explained what he was fixing and maintenance and prevention tips for the future. Thank you for the great service!
