The way he brought up quiet time was odd and somewhat threatening… would never stay here again. Couldn’t wait to leave. Pricey for what it is. Two stars is generous.
D	Dailan Filippov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Motel looks quite plain from the road. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful ocean view the moment opening the door. Room is spacious, clean and well taken care of. It is also in walking distance to museum, discovery pier, and fish and chips. We love it.

I had problems paying with my debit, and they happily took etransfer instead - I doubt any other place would be willing to compensate like that. Had zero trouble getting deposit back through etransfer either. I stayed for a few days last Summer with my girlfriend, and we were very well taken care of. We had an upstairs room, and the view is just spectacular, especially going on the balcony early morning or watching the sunset. Extremely big and comfortable bed, living room had a comfy couch and a nice big TV with Netflix included. Another review commented saying it's on a noisy highway, but we couldn't hear anything of that sort; maybe the comfy bed put us in too deep of a sleep to hear the cars. The room had guidelines at the entrance stating to not wear your shoes past the entrance line, the cleanliness of the whole Motel was just superb. All in all, Above Tide knows what they're doing, and booking with them made my trip a lot more enjoyable. Plus, there's a nearby 711 only a 20 minute walk away, so that's a good positive for me on the location. When I visit Campbell River again, I'll for sure be staying here.

The renovations were high quality, tastefully decorated and everything was absolutely spotless. In fact, they request you don't wear your shoes in the suite. We had a great sleep in the very comfortable bed and the room was very quiet. This will become our new go to place when we need to spend the night in CR. Excellent all round.

The staff at the Above Tide were the most polite on the phone and made sure that we had a quiet room. When we arrived for check in, the front desk manager was really funny and he definitely takes the responsibility of making sure his guests are comfortable. The room itself is nice, and very clean. The beds are quite comfortable and the sheets smell so nice, I’m going to ask what laundry detergent they use! The view from the rooms is a stunning ocean view. I recommend this place and I’ll definitely stay here again.
