★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This registry has to take the prize for the WORST telephone service I have encountered in a long time . Today is Saturday and I have tried to contact this registry, most of the day and also most of yesterday. I have tried all their contact numbers ie:- 2,3&4, no luck, just a recording. I have left messages, no result. How does a business operate with this type (lack of) service? Does't the Alberta Registry service monitor their licensed outlets. At the moment, I would not trust these guys to carry a pail of water across the room because they would somehow screw it up.

2 times been there, after every single time that I left there, I had issues.
First time I went there to register my vehicle. After I left there, I had to scan 1 paper for them and send it, because they forgot!
The second time they forgot to give me the third page of my abstract and I had to return there!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME THERE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience here. I went to take my road test and the my examiner was incredibly rude and unfair. I went in with my husbands car which he has used previously for his own road tests but the examiner claimed the car unusable because of a crack in the windshield. This was a basic road test too! No wonder this place has bad reviews. I don't know what's wrong with people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please go somewhere else for your road test. These guys will always find something they will fail you for. We had 5 fails out of 6 test within our family, 4 of them totally unreasonable. We kept coming back 'cause we know the area but now we know better. Learn from our mistakes.
Update - took my son to West 85 the next day and the examiner praised the kid for being a great driver. Small mistakes (as nobody is perfect at 16) were discussed and explained but the the approach was completely different.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was going to register today at 11:30AM (March 5) and the only one woman who could help me was so unprofessional!!
First, she welcomed two people who arrived after me. I said nothing but I was waiting there almost 30min and she never apologied for that.
Then, when it was finally my turn, she told me I had to print documents and come back. I asked if I could send her my documents by email because I do not have a printer and everything was on my phone, but she refused (she had a printer right beside her!!!). So I went to print some docs (she did not tell me what I had to print exactly) and when I was finally back, I was wondering if I had printed everything she needed, so I came to her to ask but she told me roughly to stay back and ask my question when it is my turn again! Really ? Just for a simple question? I had to wait 10 minutes again! And finally, she told me my internet bills is not a proof of residence so I waited and did all of this for nothing! Fortunately, another agent in another registry office did it well and I am finally registered.
I do not recommend this woman, so unprofessional and she does not listen what you say, thinking she knows everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked for a road test, using my own car. Everything was working on the car when I checked it the night before. However, when I showed up for the test, one brake light was not working. The examiner asked me twice if there is another car I can use (as if I own more than one). Because of this small detail, I lost my 142$ dollar exam attempt. No chance to rebook, no time given to replace a light bulb. I can’t even reschedule for a open spot later that same day. Zero customer service, no flexibility. I won’t be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The clerk was rude when I attended to transfer my registration. I handed her my documents and she asked where my wife was (who was required). I said she was just arriving and the clerk said I would have to await her arrival. I knew my wife was out front so I called her and told the clerk. There were no customers behind me and I said it didn’t look busy and the clerk abruptly said she had other work to do. This clerk requires training on customer service and how to appropriately respond to customers. I left and told her I would take my business elsewhere. I will not use this registry office again.
