★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Randy for 3 homes inspection and he asked for the information to be sent in a text message to book my appointments. I DID send him the text message 2 minutes after our call. I called him the day before the first inspection to confirm and he said he was sorry he did not book any of my inspections because he did not receive the text message. I sent him a screenshot to prove him wrong but he said I still can't help you since I am booked for the rest of the week.
I found what he did irresponsible and dishonest. He should have taken the responsibility of him not checking his messages on time. I lost an offer on one of the 3 houses because I couldn't show up on time with an inspector. I would never recommend him to any one as he is not trust worthy and does not honor his words.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Randy Murray is excellent to work with. I actually found him when he inspected a home I was selling in 2013, they buyer shared the inspection report and I was very impressed with the detail in the report provided.
I kept his company info and acquired his services for myself in 2016 with a "New" townhouse purchase after I discovered the builder was negligent with during construction. The inspection helped thoroughly uncover and identify all issues that I was then able to have covered under warranty before it expired and the cost would have been mine to absorb.
..and finally i just completed an inspection on a home we are making an offer on. The walk through with Randy is very informative and comes with a lot of great tips from maintenance, easy fixes and guidance on the more complex findings which may require specialized contractors.
You will be very happy with his service and report!

There was no nook or cranny Randy did not inspect and we would have been in for some rude surprises had he not been the one to discover all the issues with a house we had offered on. He is honest, tells you what to watch out for, and will explain everything to you patiently as he goes. Well worth the money and I would recommend Randy and A Closer Look to anyone!
