Chris Bottriell PHI, RHI, ACI
Chris Bottriell RHI is the owner of Alberta Property Inspection Ltd., located in Edmonton, Alberta. With over 24 years of experience as a Professional Home Inspector (PHI), Registered Home Inspector (RHI) and ASHI-certified Inspector (ACI), Chris has performed over 11,000 inspections for Edmonton area home buyers.
Chris is a Certified Infrared thermographer, and is licensed by the Alberta Government to provide home inspection services. He is well regarded for his knowledge, and the professionalism with which he carries out each inspection. Throughout his career, Chris has been devoted to improving and promoting the home inspection profession. He has assisted in home inspection course development, and instructed continuing education courses. Chris is a past president of CAHPI (Alberta chapter), and a current active member of Alberta Professional Home Inspectors Society (APHIS).

He explained to us the features on the roof and deficiencies he found. Chris spent two hours for a small size townhouse thoroughly. it saved us 2K for the deficiencies fixed before we owned the property. The reception desk also very helpful. She held the spot for us during the highly demanded time of the year before we set up the time with the owners. Thanks Chris and Alberta Property Inspection! Highly recommend its services.

We were able to get an appointment quickly (within the same week) which we really appreciated with the housing market the way it is right now. Chris arrived at our new home early to perform some outdoor inspections of the property based on what he could see and allowed my fiancé to shadow him throughout the inspection and thoroughly explained everything to him (and his notebook!). He was incredibly patient and answered all of our questions (we had a lot of them) and took the time to go above and beyond when offering us advice on how to fix certain issues he discovered. We had a plumbing leak at the property earlier that morning and the plumber had not arrived by the time our inspection was taking place, Chris went out of his way to come back to the property later that same day to finish the inspection. We cannot recommend Alberta Property Inspection Ltd. enough - we guarantee you will be more than satisfied with their superior service.

We are extremely impressed by Chris’s professionalism when he carried out the inspection. He arrived early on site and thoroughly went over all the exterior and interior structures, appliances, mechanical room and furnaces, rooftop, and all the walls and corners.
