★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don and the guys from A Better Landscaper did a fantastic job on our back fence and retaining wall replacement. They were working on my neighbours place and I approached Don about doing our's as well. Although he was already booked up, he agreed to squeeze us in while he was there. This could have been an excuse for a rushed job, but quality was not sacrificed. My wife and I were, and still are, extremely happy with the job. Every time I use the new back gate, or drive down the alley, I smile and think how lucky we were to stumble upon A Better Landscaper. Great work Don. One more fence replacement to go, and I plan to use them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our old deck and walk out patio needed a complete overhaul. Don listened to our needs and was able to walk us through various options. He provided suggestions to the design, materials and functionality of the deck and patio that exceeded our knowledge and expectations. In the process of renovation, he also re-graded our ground to ensure water would not come through the basement. He further installed an underground sprinkler and extended our cement garage pad. Overall we were very pleased with A Better Landscaper's quality of workmanship, attention to details and regular communication with us to ensure we were kept apprised of the project and understood our options. I appreciate the company's ability to provide a one-stop shop for all our outdoor needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don and his crew replaced our old deck with a new one which is far more functional than the old one. Don made many helpful suggestions in the design of the new deck and we are very happy with the finished product and we have had many favourable comments on our new deck.
As a result of our experience with Don's work, we have now contracted him to replace our backyard patio and the stairs down the hill along the side of our house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had 2 estimates given when I decided to get a new fence built, but I chose Don because he spent time talking to us about the job and explaining exactly what he had to do to build a good solid fence. I could tell that he was very knowledgeable in his field and I felt strongly that he was the man for the job. I hired him and I found out that my instincts were right. His crew was exceptionally courteous and they worked steadily until the job was done. I was amazed at how fast the job was completed and am very happy with the fortress fence that was built. All the scraps and debris was cleaned up and taken away and they left my yard looking great. If I need any more work done in the future, I will be contacting Don at A Better Landscaper, as he has proven that he only hires the best and he takes pride in what he does. He has proven that he is out to please the customer and that is exactly what is needed to make a good business. Very pleased with a job well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved into a new home last year, and desperately needed to finish my backyard, since I have a dog. I found A Better Landscaper on Google, and arranged for Don to come out and give me an estimate.
My fence and concrete patio were built on time and on budget, the gate on my fence required adjustment due to sagging, and a better landscaper was happy to come out and adjust the latch for free.
I would do business with this company ago, thanks for the job well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don and his crew did our landscaping in the spring/summer of 2014. We contracted A Better Landscaper to build 2 sets of fence, a deck with pergola, a stone patio, a fireplace, a retaining wall for a garden bed as well as to lay sod in the backyard.
Throughout the project, Don did excellent work adding little design touches here and there that was not requested (but much appreciated).
His crew was respectful (to us and to the neighbours) and general housekeeping was excellent with the site being cleaned up at the end of each day.
If I have further work required, I will definitely contract his services again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were expecting a baby last summer and needed some additional storage space. We hired A Better Landscaper to build a shed for us in the back yard to meet our storage needs. Don and crew were aware of the time sensitivity to our situation and completed the project for us well in advance of our need. This is the third time we have hired Don and his crews for projects at our house. Each time he has completed a project for us, the project was completed at the quoted price and duration. He did a fantastic job of matching the shed project to the other work he has completed for us in the back yard. He always offers design suggestions that come with his years of experience and they always enhance the finished product. Both Don and his crews are respectful of the homeowner and their neighbours from start to finish. I will be continuing to use A Better Landscaper for additional projects we have planned in the coming years based on my previous experiences with them. Well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In September, 2012, I contracted A Better Landscaper to replace my fence. I found Don from A Better Landscaper to be very good to deal with and was extremely helpful. Don was able to answer all my questions, and there was no pressure. I have to say my wife and I are extremely please with our new fence, the workmanship was first class, and attention to detail was very evident. Don and his co-worker did a fantastic job!!!!
Even a number of our neighbours approached us and said what a great fence, and inquired as to which company we used.
I would not hesitate in using A Better Landscaper for any future job. If you want the job done right, you should contact A Better Landscaper. I highly recommend them.
