★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Store was only interested in taking orders but failed to fulfil them. Email announcements were inconsistent with the actual situation and wasted a 30 minute drive all the way to Kits and back home empty handed.
Update: James (sorry!), the manager, reached out and extended his apologies. Mechanical breakdowns do exist, so I just hope that there is clearer communicate for next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Your chowder is the absolute best I’ve ever had, tying one that I had at Bodega Bay, CA, about 35 years ago. Been looking all this time for it’s equal. I added a little milk and a sautéed spot prawn left over from last night. Btw your spot prawns are always excellent too!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shop at this 7 seas located on 4th regulary for the past 8 months as I am a private chef working closeby this location. 7 seas offer a wide variety of fresh fish and seafood. I usually go there to get shrimps, mussels, and a couple of different fish. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I have worked with James a couple years back when I was working in the restaurant industry, and he is very knowledgable, friendly and always tries his best to meet the customers' requests to make them happy! Last week, he had recommended to me their Arctic Turbot. I had tried it for my client and personally for myself, and we were impressed by how beautiful, succelent and buttery Arctic Turbot fish was. Now I have to say that Arctic Turbot is my top favourite fish. I am looking forward to try upcoming new fish/seafood they will be bringing in the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got some smoked salmon for our Eggs Benedict. Delicious and available in smaller portions. Owner is very knowledgeable and happy to share best practices when it comes to fish preparation and recipes. Excellent fresh fish selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Candied salmon is so good, especially the maple one, and employees are soo friendly! I went to buy some candied salmon as a souvenir before flying home and the employee was so considerate to even wrap it up securely before my flight and recommending the best way to transport it. I'll definitely be back next time I'm out there.

Today I purchased ingredients for a Westcoast seafood dinner (pictured, minus the sushi), and all my guests complimented the wonderful seafood.
